My schedule is open, I am retired and can work around others time frames. I am out of town 5 days a month from April through September. I am willing to generally spend an hour at a time with a pet, at an owners home. Not set up to do this at my home. I am only looking for a few hours a week.

I can watch people’s cats or dogs in their home. Assure that they’re fed and cared for. My background is as an EMT, ski patroller for 35 years. I will watch over and care for people’s pets as if they were my own.

I can provide additional care for some special needs pets. I do not do shots or IV hydrating. I have cared for my own senior dog and cats and a senior pet is fine.
A typical day
I can spend an hour at a time normally with a pet. When checking in on them I have usually done a morning visit and an afternoon, or early evening visit. For cats it’s the typical feed, water & clean their litter box. Give them attention and if an owner has an outside routine I comply. When checking in on dogs it’s the same feed and water, give them attention and a walk if that is what the owner prefers. It’s rare when a dog doesn’t take to me.

Pet care experience
I am a retired ski patroller. I currently have my own 19 year old cat. I have had dogs since I was a teenager. My last dog made it to 17 years old. I have watched the pets of friends and family for years. I have plenty of time, and enjoy being around pets. I will care for people’s pets like they were my own. I haven’t been a “professional “ sitter or walker, but have done it for over 50 years or more for friends and neighbors.
