I've been pet sitting since I was a kid back home in rural Pennsylvania! All of my neighbors had dogs, from tiny little Shih Tzus to big Great Danes, so my first job was walking them to make some money before I was old enough to work. Over years, I've walked plenty of dogs, house sat for families, done drop-ins...with cats, I've done all the same! Of course, it's less common for families to ask for "outside time" for their cats, so my experience there mainly involves house sitting and drop ins throughout the day. I absolutely love animals and take every opportunity to be around them as I can as I'm not quite ready to have one myself. I treat all pets like a part of my own family since I know they're a part of yours! Beyond pet sitting, I've also spent many years babysitting and volunteering at nursing homes - while not directly related, care giving is something I've been doing my whole life!

Schedule
As a graduate student violinist, I don't have many time obligations. My schedule can adjust to the schedule your pet needs to feel safe.

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment has a very large, well lit bedroom and beautiful living room, so there is plenty of room for your pet feel comfortable. There is also a small park and garden just outside for light walking and bathroom breaks. My home has very little clutter and miscellaneous items that could be of harm to any animals. I do not have any pets, so your animal would not feel threatened or anything but loved in our space.
