Pet care experience
I've had dogs my whole life growing up in the UK. I now live in Meriden (CT) with my wife and beagle-hound rescue pup Gracie. I have a huge passion for structured training (puppies and older), intelligent play that teaches them good behavior, and exploring the outdoors to give dogs I care for a real sense of exploration and meaningful exercise.

Mike has been walking our two basenjis for a few weeks now, and we couldn't ask for a better walker. The dogs warmed up to him quickly and love it when he arrives. Mike is an excellent communicator, and was able to be flexible with us as our schedules and needs changed. A+ would highly recommend!
Micheal was away and boy did my pups miss him! They love their time with him, I always come home to extra happy dogs on the days he comes :)
Michael was absolutely great! I would 100% recommend his service to anyone who needs pet sitting. He was very attentive, so good with all of my dogs and was sure to send me multiple pictures daily of my fur babies! He was completely respectful of my house and followed all of the instructions I left and the whole process was so smooth! Our beagle-hound rescue Gracie is only a year old and well socialized, and we have multiple toys and training equipment available - regular playtimes, training sessions and walks are a big part of her life and the day-to-day fun for any dogs we board. We have a crate set up for her in the living room so she is fully positioned within a main social area, and we have an entire room downstairs with its own crate that boarding pups have all to themselves to make their own. It's the perfect setup!

I have no problem with strict diets and having to administer medication, so please just give me detailed directions ahead of time, measurements, amounts, etc. and that will be 100% taken care of.
A typical day
Playtime with meaningful rewards to encourage good behavior is crucial for a dog's development and ability to interact with humans. I love puzzle solving games for dogs especially, and also massively prioritize outdoor walking/hiking in nature so they're stimulated by the natural world. Am keen to know what commands or skills the dog needs to work on, as I can create customized training to help!

Availability
I work from home so am highly flexible with my care schedule. We also own our house which has a spacious backyard, large living rooms and is perfectly set up to take in other dogs.
