Pet care experience

Professional Insured Pet Sitter

Hi, I’m Michael, a professional dog walker and pet sitter based in Kittery Point, Maine, serving the Seacoast ME and NH area, including Portsmouth, Eliot, and Rye. I provide structured, personalized care through dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight stays for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I have hands on experience with strong, large breeds that thrive with calm, confident leadership, and I’m equally attentive with small dogs who need patience and a gentle approach. I am especially comfortable managing multi pet households and maintaining established routines so your home stays stable and stress free while you are away. Whether your dog prefers long structured walks or relaxed companionship at home, I deliver reliable, detail oriented care tailored to your pet’s specific needs. Your pets will be in capable, attentive hands, just like my own two dogs, Elke, a German Shepherd, and Mocha, a Mini Poodle.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and established routine are my top priorities. In your home, I maintain a calm, structured environment and follow instructions carefully to minimize stress while you are away. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross and prepared to respond appropriately in the event of an emergency. I have hands on experience with large breeds that benefit from confident, steady leadership, as well as smaller or more sensitive dogs who need patience and awareness. I am especially comfortable managing multi pet households, keeping feeding schedules, boundaries, and personalities balanced so the home remains stable and peaceful. Living with my own two dogs, Elke, a German Shepherd, and Mocha, a Mini Poodle, reinforces the importance of attentiveness, structure, and proactive care in every setting.

Michael was reliable, caring and thoughtful, I’m so grateful he’s in the neighborhood to care for my dog. I was reassured for the whole week my dog was in good hands while I was away.

Michael is thoughtful and so kind in dealing with me and my dog. My dog recently had surgery and is recovering well- I feel confident that Michael is treating her well and supporting her healing through following the directions the vet gave me. He is timely. Conscious with my house. I recommend him with out reservation.
