E.R. Vet Med, Retired Military

I've owned dogs all of my life, worked with K-9 units during my 12 years in the military and I am a P..TS.D. service dog handler. I am trained in canine C.P.R and work in Emergency Veterinary Medicine. I am able to administer oral and injected medications if need be. I am also able to provide care for special needs dogs and have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I don't believe that there is such a thing as a bad dog or bad breed. And I know, being a dog owner and a service dog handler, that most pet owners are like me....they're NOT pets....they're FAMILY.

Michael is very good with animals. He has trained my dog to listen and obey when I was having trouble with simple commands such as come and stay. I would and have trusted him with both my cat, dog and spider care when I have traveled away from home. I would highly recommend him to everyone who needs help in caring and training their pets.

Michael loves dogs. He is very patient with them and gives them the time they need to make sure they are comfortable with him. He knows how to let them know he is Alpha by his treatment and conduct with all dogs without being demanding, bossy, loud or abusive. I have seen him make friends with dogs that have been abused and badly beaten and where no one else was able to get next to them he, after waiting patiently for the dog to accept him, was able to get the dog to sit and walk with him on a leash. I would trust him and have trusted him with any or all of my pets, not just dogs as he truly understands how to communicate with animals.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

Animals thrive on love and attention just like people do. Interaction and activity are crucial to physical and mental health. The only difference between humans and animals is that they're covered in fur and we have opposable thumbs.

Pets

A typical day

There is an open, pet-friendly, park only 2 miles away with a beautiful 5 mile long walking trail (paved) and access to dirt trails by the stream. My neighborhood is in a quiet, friendly, area where we can walk around and not have to worry about too many vehicles and can get to lots of different places for your dog to be a dog.

I'd like to know if your pet has any medical or dietary issues and it would be helpful to know if your dog doesn't get along well with other dogs or children.
