I’ve been a dog dad for over a year to Theo, my energetic pit mix, and recently welcomed a beagle puppy, Daisy. Theo was a six-month-old rescue with more love and excitement than I thought possible. While he was being trained to be a guard dog, I’ve worked with him to learn the skill of being calm. Yet, it’s always a work in progress! Daisy was just over eight-weeks when we adopted her almost two months ago, and I’ve learned a lot about puppy care ever since. We are currently potty training and learning basic commands. Between them and our 15-year-old cat, I’ve learned how to handle just about everything — from training and exercise to senior care and lots of cuddles. I know how much pets mean to a family, and I’ll treat yours with the same love and patience I give my own.
