Hi! We’re Michael and Joanna—best friends and lifelong dog lovers offering in-home boarding and daycare from our home. We specialize in caring for small dogs, especially those with separation anxiety who need extra patience, comfort, and attention. Michael has over 25 years of personal dog ownership experience, and Joanna brings 20 years of professional boarding experience. Together, we provide a calm, loving environment that helps dogs feel safe and at ease while their owners are away. We can also help with socialization and crate training as part of our daily routine. Every dog in our care is treated like family, with plenty of one-on-one attention and regular updates for pet parents. References are available upon request—we’d love to care for your pup!

Benny had a great experience during his stay! I got plenty of picture/video updates and he was having fun with the other pups in all of them. He had so much fun that he fell asleep immediately after being picked up. He also received a little good bag with treats, a toy and a bandanna. He also had a fresh smell and no tear stains on his face. We will definitely be booking next time!
I couldn’t ask for a better place to put my Zylo! I got so many up to date pictures and progress for my baby. When I picked him up he was fresh and had some extra treats. You can’t go wrong with your dog in there care 10/10!
They were really great with my two boys and they came back home smelling soo good and looking soo happy I will definitely be using you guys again great service 🤩
Mike and Joanna came through in a pinch for us when our accommodations changed unexpectedly while traveling. Our dogs stayed with them for two nights and Joanna sent photos and updates every day. It was pretty much a spa vacation for them, with a pool and a ball pit and new dig friends, and couch snuggles at night. We know where our dogs will be staying from day one if we are ever back in Chicago!

Schedule
My current availability is extremely accommodating with plenty of time to play with and walk your pups. I'll even board on weekends and holidays with same-day reservations.

Safety, trust & environment
I have three chi-weenies that enjoy a fenced yard, front and back. If needed, I can easily and comfortably crate your pups but they are welcome to be next to me on the sofa or wherever.

A typical day
Depending on clients' preferences, I offer a pool in the summer, long, local walks and jogs, fetch, and tug-of-war. I have ample space inside and out to ensure the best experience.
