I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and special needs pets, so I can adapt care to match your dog’s stage of life—whether that means extra patience with potty training, gentle support for mobility, or a little extra playtime to burn off puppy energy. My approach is always loving, consistent, and safety-first. Your dog won’t just be supervised—they’ll be engaged, cared for, and made to feel at home.

Hands down the most amazing dog sitter we have ever experienced. He is just an absolute gem and the most friendly/attentive to your dog and their needs. From asking about feeding to potty break schedules, you can truly tell how much he cares about your lil guy. He kept us updated with our dog and even took him on some awesome adventures! He even sent us the CUTEST photos of our doggo! We feel extremely lucky to have found such an amazing dog sitter. I would recommend him 1000x to anyone looking in the big bear area. Michael was THE BEST dog sitter I have EVER had. I have had to travel a lot in the past two years, and Michael is the one who watched both of my dogs every single time. He gave updates, was the best communicator and made sure the dogs got everything they needed. One of my dogs has separation anxiety, and the first time I left she wouldn't eat for a couple days unless Michael hand-fed her. Knowing that someone was willing to go that extra mile to make sure she was okay was all the peace of mind I needed. I never left my dogs with anyone else! I structure my day around feeding times, play sessions, walks, and rest, making sure every dog has the attention and care they deserve. Whether that means extra belly rubs, sticking to a familiar routine, or paying close attention to their unique needs and behaviors. I’m always tuned in to the little things: how much water they’re drinking, how energetic they seem, or if they just need some quiet cuddle time. Because I live in a dog-friendly environment with a large fenced yard and plenty of outdoor space, it’s natural for me to build in multiple exercise and play breaks throughout the day. I’m also flexible, so I can match your dog’s routine as closely as possible to what they’re used to at home. In short, pet care isn’t just part of my schedule—it is my schedule. Your pup’s happiness and comfort are always at the center of my day.

The space is divided into multiple play areas, so I can tailor the environment depending on a dog’s size, age, or energy level. Whether it’s a high-energy game of fetch or a quiet sniffing stroll, every pup has a safe place to enjoy themselves. Inside my home, dogs are treated like family with supervised free roam and furniture privileges—no being tucked away or left alone for long stretches. The wraparound deck allows for safe outdoor lounging and plenty of fresh air, while still keeping pups secure. I build trust by maintaining a calm, attentive presence. I carefully monitor interactions, body language, and energy levels to ensure every dog feels comfortable. For puppies, seniors, or dogs with special needs, I adjust activities and rest times to meet their unique requirements. With me, your dog will be in an environment designed to help them thrive, relax, and feel at home.
A typical day
The activities I provide are tailored to your pet’s activity level, physical health, and your specific requests. Conveniently located within walking distance to both the village and the lake, I’m able to offer stimulating walks full of interesting smells and engaging stops—provided your pet’s health allows. Back at home, your pet will have several options for comfort and enrichment: relaxing indoors with furniture privileges (if permitted), lounging on the wraparound deck to take in the fresh mountain air, or exploring and playing across more than half an acre of fully fenced, private property.
