Hello, I’m Michael! I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life, and people often joke that I’m basically a human Golden Retriever. I’m warm, reliable, detail-oriented, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality, whether they’re playful, shy, cuddly, chaotic, or somewhere in between. I’m great with routines, feeding instructions, walks, litter boxes, meds, and giving pets the patience they need to feel comfortable. I’ll also send plenty of cute photo updates, because I know how nice it is to see that your pet is happy and cared for while you’re away. I don’t currently have a pet of my own, so Rover is the perfect way for me to spend time with animals and help people feel good knowing their pets are in safe, loving hands.

Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I'll carefully follow every instruction you leave, from feeding schedules and medications to favorite walking routes and bedtime routines, so your pet's day feels as normal as possible. I also believe communication builds trust, so you can expect regular updates, plenty of photos, and quick responses throughout every booking. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they're part of my own family.

Schedule
I work from home in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood, so I have a flexible schedule that makes it easy to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and last-minute requests whenever possible. Whether your pet needs an early morning potty break, a midday walk, or evening company, I'm happy to build my day around their routine.
