Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy being active and spending time with dogs, so walks, visits, and check-ins are something I look forward to each day. Being retired allows me to stay flexible and dependable for pet owners who need regular or last-minute help.

About Michael B.

Safety, trust & environment

I focus on keeping each pet comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. Every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and personality. In a client’s home, I make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed in their own environment. I provide walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also keep things clean and organized, and I’m respectful of your home.

Information Michael B. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your dog, it’s important for me to understand their personality, routine, and any special needs so I can keep them safe and comfortable. I like to know your dog’s daily schedule, including feeding times, potty habits, and typical walk length. It’s also helpful to understand their temperament—whether they are friendly with other dogs, shy, anxious, energetic, or reactive on leash. Any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or mobility issues are important to note, especially for senior or special-needs dogs. I also ask about their training level and commands they understand, as well as any behaviors to watch for such as pulling, barking, or separation anxiety. Finally, knowing what they enjoy most—walks, sniffing, play, or social interaction—helps me make each visit positive and tailored to their needs.

A typical day

I offer several tailored dog walking services to meet different needs and energy levels. My Standard Walk provides a reliable daily outing focused on exercise, potty breaks, and routine. For more active dogs, I offer Adventure Walks, which include longer outings to parks, trails, or open areas where dogs can explore and burn extra energy. For older pets or those who prefer a slower pace, my Senior/Sniff Walk (Gentle Care) focuses on calm, unhurried walks that allow plenty of time for sniffing, comfort, and light movement. I also offer paired walks for friendly dogs, allowing compatible pets to walk together for added socialization, stimulation, and enjoyment when appropriate.

Pet care experience

What sets me apart is reliability, patience, and a calm approach with every dog I care for. Being retired, I have the time and flexibility to give pets consistent attention instead of rushing through visits. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking to their normal routine and taking the time to understand their personality and needs. I’m especially good with dogs that benefit from a steady, relaxed presence, including senior dogs or those that may be a little anxious. I also make communication a priority. Pet owners receive regular updates so they always know their dog is safe and well cared for. I limit the number of pets I take so each one gets the attention they deserve. My goal is simple—dependable care you can trust and a positive experience for your dog every time.
