I’m a dedicated pet parent and small business owner running a father-and-son pet care team. We offer reliable, structured care with clear communication, personalized attention, and photo/video updates so you always know your dog is safe, comfortable, and doing well. We’re different from large, crowded kennels. We only take a limited number of dogs at a time so each pup gets real one-on-one care, not just quick check-ins. Your dog is treated like part of our family known by name, routine, and personality. I have experience with rescue dogs, dogs with PTSD or separation anxiety, and pups who need extra help with confidence, social manners, or routine-based care. I focus on calm, consistent structure while my son brings extra play, snuggles, and companionship. Together, we create a peaceful environment where dogs can relax and feel secure. Each dog’s care plan is tailored to their energy level, age, and needs. Whether your dog is high-energy, anxious, reactive, or laid-back, we keep a steady schedule of walks, potty breaks, enrichment, feeding, and rest so they feel settled and at home. I seriously can’t say enough great things about Reliable Paws Pet Care. I found myself in a tough spot when I needed boarding for my dog, Alex, on very short notice and needed to board him for nearly three weeks. After reaching out to several people, Mike was the only one willing to step up and help. From the very beginning, he walked me through the entire process, answered all of my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving Alex in his care. Throughout Alex’s stay, it was obvious he was treated like family. One of my favorite parts was receiving the daily “Doggy Diaries” with photos and updates. Seeing Alex happy, comfortable, and having fun gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. My son loved getting the updates too, and it quickly became something we looked forward to every day. When Alex came home, we even received a detailed After Action Report summarizing his stay, along with a thoughtful thank-you goodie bag a couple of pictures that my son found out we're stickers. It’s those extra touches that truly set Reliable Paws Pet Care apart from everyone else. Mike genuinely cares about the pets him and his son look after, and it shows in everything they do. Their communication, professionalism, and love for animals are second to none. They’ve earned our trust and made lifelong clients out of us. Reliable Paws Pet Care was amazing while I was away on a last minute work trip and while 7 different sitters denied my request due to it beong last minute, Mike accepted it and came in at a great rate. He really made the entire process easy and stressfree, with great communication, updates, and genuine care for my two dogs. I came home to two happy pups and couldn’t be more thankful. Leaving our 14year old pug with health issues is never easy, but Mike made us feel completely at peace while we were away for 9 days on our cruise. He was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive with her, gave us great updates via email, and truly treated her like family. On top of that, while he house sat for us, he left our home even cleaner and more organized than we left it lol. We met Mike through Nextdoor, and from the very beginning he was incredibly responsive, friendly, and attentive. He made us feel completely comfortable trusting him with our home and pets. We have one dog and two cats, and they all took to Mike almost immediately, which says a lot! He clearly has a natural connection with animals and made sure they were well cared for, loved, and comfortable while we were away. What stood out even more was how kind and patient he was with my son, who is disabled. Mike took the time to connect with him, which meant so much to our family. My son felt reassured and confident that everything would be taken care of, and Mike absolutely delivered on that promise. He house sat for five days, and not only did he take amazing care of our fur babies, but he also went above and beyond by keeping our home clean and tidy, lol, which was such a nice surprise to come home to. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable.

For boarding, your dog will have a comfortable, supervised space with regular potty breaks and playtime. For walks and drop-ins, I prioritize safety, leash control, and awareness of surroundings at all times. I treat every pet like my own and provide regular updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing. Reliable Paws Pet Care is fully insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI) for added peace of mind.

I will start with relaxed, sniff-focused “decompression walks” that allow your dog to explore at their own pace, burn mental energy, and feel comfortable in a new environment. I pay close attention to their behavior, energy level, and comfort so they never feel rushed or overwhelmed. Indoors, I keep things engaging with enrichment activities like treat puzzles, scent games, and interactive play, all designed to stimulate their mind and keep them happy without overstimulation. Between activities, I prioritize plenty of affection and quiet downtime so your pet feels safe, relaxed, and at home. Whether your dog is high-energy or more laid-back, I adjust the day to match their needs. My goal is simple: your pet feels secure, cared for, and genuinely enjoys their time while you’re away.
