I grew up with animals my whole life. Ive been called the animal whisperer by all my friends. The guy the antisocial cat chooses to sit in the lap of at the party, the person the my partners dog leaves them for, the guy who tames the horse that wont let anyone bridal. I have had at least 2 pet companions most of my childhood and into my current adult life. Both cats and dogs from kitten to elderly. Sometimes living in houses where my pets cohabitated with others pets, I become the one to feed/walk/train because I love interacting with them and their personalities. I take pride in knowing that I read signaling and body language well and can intuit needs and practice patience.

In others homes I would always make sure to get background on pattern/rituals that exists for the clients pets and try to keep those up. Structure is important to animals and if they expect to get fed/walked/groomed at a specific time I totally respect that. Got a fav ball you want me to throw? Can do. A favorite tree on a walk that needs to be visited at least once a day? Show me where...

Micah was an excellent catsitter for our three cats! We were worried about leaving them alone while going on a trip, so we gave Micah a long list of routine and care instructions which he took with understanding and respect for their wellness. One cat needed insulin shots and another needed ear drops. Micah took care of them, played with them, and even sent pictures and updates to help alleviate our worries. We'll definitely want to hire Micah again for our next trip.
Micah has been absolutely wonderful with my animals! He is kind, attentive and intuitive to their needs. I always feel comfortable and confident that they are well loved and cared for by him when I have to away. He is respectable and considerate of our home space as well.
I have seen Micah work with cats and dogs for over a year. He is overarching in his care and love for animals. He understands not just the physical needs of animals, but their emotional ones as well which makes him an exceptional choice because animals love him. He has cared for my dog Brona and two cats for the past several months and is always thinking of ways to improve their lives, whether that's with their food, enrichment around the home, play or training. I highly recommend him as a trustworthy and capable solution to your pet care needs.
Micah is a reliable and trustworthy friend. He has helped me on numerous occasions and always been solid and prompt. He is great with animals as he has two dogs and the cat in his dwelling.

Schedule
I currently live with 2 cats and a dog which I do the majority of the pet care for. Cleaning up, feeding, and training the dog (shes still young - 2). So I wake up early and feed everyone. Take the dog to the park for an hour to play fetch. Rinse and repeat in the evening. I also have been pet sitting for friends over the past few months which has led me to wanting to work with more furry companions.
