All my best friends are dogs
I grew up with three dogs and formed deep connections with them as a kid. I've always been fond of dogs' happy-go-lucky nature and eagerness to be a companion on any adventure (or vocalize dissent). Dogs rely on their caretakers to provide them safety, sustenance, exercise, and joy - a responsibility I take seriously! Making dogs happy and healthy makes me happy, and so I do. I don't currently have any dogs, as I am in graduate school and live with several roommates. But my desire to do this job is in part to connect with dogs for my own happiness.

I like taking dogs outside for walks, runs, or playing fetch at the park. I'm a runner myself, so it's mutually beneficial. If your dog likes to snuggle, I like getting cozy with pretty much any dog or have them sleep on my bed. I'm a very affectionate person so I give lots of pets and words of affirmation. I'm also very detail-oriented and follow whatever feeding schedule you direct me to. I keep a safe environment by speaking kindly to dogs and being gentle with them, while being confident in taking control of a situation if need arises.

Micah took great care of my cocker mix. She liked him from the get go. He left the house very clean. I will definitely have him dog sit again.
Michah was great with our 2 year old Labradoodle Charlie. Have booked with Michah twice and both times he was fast to respond and provided great care. He came to meet Charlie beforehand. Thank you for walking and playing with Charlie while we were out of town and needed an extra person to help out with his care. Sent me emails with pictures of their adventures. Glad to have found him and will definitely contact him again when we need help!
Micah has been great with my two boys. He is very attentive, responsible, and reliable. He truly loves and understands dogs. He communicates proactively and responds in a very timely manner, not to mention all the fun pictures that you get of your fur babies while you are away. Micah will definitely be the first person I contact to care for my dogs while I am away.
Micah is an exceptional human being. He was very easy to communicate with and had an ease with our dog, Rain, which is no easy feat as he is a 97 pound husky. He was able to accommodate a last minute booking and even able to adjust when our trip plans changed. I so appreciate Micah and would definitely have him sit for us again. Thank you!!
I have recently gotten to know Micah as a friend and colleague, and I can say that he has a great energy and a kind spirit. He is about to begin research as a graduate student, and as a fellow graduate student, I understand the dedication and hard work it takes to exist in the academic environment. He is an upstanding individual and treats animals (& humans!) with respect and compassion. Micah has great communication skills and is willing to be flexible and think on his feet. Your furry friends will enjoy their time with Micah!
Micah was a great caretaker of our sweet dog. She can be a bit nervous around males, but Micah quickly earned her love and trust through patience and an excellent demeanor around dogs. I appreciated his enthusiasm for her and text updates with pictures assuring me our beloved dog was in excellent hands and being cared for. I fully recommend Micah for your canine needs! I would definitely use his services again.

Schedule
I work 9-5 M-F and am in school, but my work schedule is flexible and I am able to work from home and take breaks often. I'm free most weekends.
