I love animals and training them. I always had dogs and other animals growing up and gained valuable experience in training them how to walk and do basic commands and tricks. I'm willing to walk, run and even teach your dog to bike with me, as well as other types of basic training while visiting or walking your dog. I can do both food-based training, and training with balls or other toys. I love working with any type of dog, but I especially enjoy the challenges that hyper and easily excitable dogs present. I love any dogs and have an understanding of dog behavior and how to relate to them. I am a dog trainer and am comfortable handling aggressive or very nervous animals. I work from home, so I have an extremely flexible calendar, and am very willing to work with you on scheduling needs. I am a very attentive dog handler. I understand how important animals are and treat every dog like it is my own. Because of past experiences, I do crate dogs when I am not home and follow a crate and rotate policy, so no dogs or cats are ever interacting other animals outside of their family group. I will also take safety measures in the heat and cold and will do everything I can to keep pets happy and safe.

This sitter accepted our booking and then did not respond to messages prior to the designated stay. We were forced to make other accommodations last minute.
Micah did an amazing job with my Timber!! She kept me updated on how Timber was doing and I appreciated that so much especially since this was my first time leaving timber with someone other than family. I will definitely use Micah again as a sitter when I visit Stillwater!!
Wonderful care provided to our crate trained girl! Our dog came in with a bit of a limp and Micah helped baby her and reduce how much she was using it. With our permission, she even carried her up the stairs when she seemed uncomfortable. Very greatful for her care!
Micah was amazing! Justine had a blast and when I picked her up she was exhausted from all the playing. It was perfect as I was coming back from a long weekend!
Micah was dependable and attentive to our pet sitting needs while we were on a Summer vacation. We appreciated the consistent communication and photos of our dogs while we were away. If I reached out, she was prompt in her communication which left us feeling at ease with our pups in her care. However, upon arrival back from our vacation, our house was covered in pet accidents. One on our bed in our Master bedroom which we specifically conveyed to not allow the dogs into that particular room. Now, we understand that accidents can easily happen, especially with stress from us being away and a new individual in our home. However, no communication from Micah. I attempted to reach out to her 2 times after the job was complete to gain her feedback about the accidents and she did not reply. Very disappointing. We unfortunately will not be hiring Micah again based upon her lack of communication after the job was completed.

Schedule
I work from home, so I create my schedule around my dogs needs. I am up by 6 to let dogs put and get them fed. I typically let dogs out in order of youngest to oldest. After feeding they get some chill time, and then we play in the backyard or go on walks. I typically feed from 5-6 and bedtime is around 9-10.

Safety, trust & environment
My backyard is completely fenced in, and I have big windows to supervise the dogs from. I never leave dogs out when I am gone, and I do not let dogs interact together unsupervised. I take safety super seriously and do everything I can to eliminate any risks.
Pets
A typical day
I would take the dogs to local parks or ponds, where we could run around on the grass or walk on smaller paths. There would probably be a ball or toy taken, so we can play and have fun. I love working on training fun trucks or just spend time cuddling on the couch. I always keep a close eye on the dog's behavior, so I can tell when the dog is tired or dehydrated and it is time to head home.
