Hi, I'm Miki! I've had dogs my whole life, and adopted one of my very own (Scout) about 4 years ago! With several years of personal and professional experience, I'm confident I can provide a happy and safe space for your pet. :) As a dog owner, I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust with your pet, and my goal is to give my client's peace of mind knowing that their babies are being cared for just as I would my own dog! At the moment, I only host one dog at a time to make sure they get my full attention (or two from the same household). I have a ton of experience and knowledge with dogs, but particularly anxious/reactive dogs and am always happy to accommodate any special needs/requests.

Micaela was amazing! She asked how often I wanted to receive updates, and she would send a detailed update at the end of the day with photos and videos of how their day went. She made sure Peppa was having fun that weekend and got in lots of walks. She was exhausted when I picked her up, and she slept hard. Micaela was flexible with pickup and drop-off time, and I really appreciated the prompt communication.
Micaela is a very responsible dog owner. She takes her dog on frequent daily walks, feeds him nourishing food and pays close attention to his needs. She puts in the necessary love, attention, and effort it takes to lookfor an animal and stops at nothing to make sure they are taken care of.
You won’t find a better person to care for your pet than Miki. She is reliable, compassionate, and incredibly thoughtful. Miki recently looked after our dog, Kona, and made sure she wasn’t just watched, but rather genuinely cared for while we were away. It’s one thing to have someone watch your pet, but it’s something entirely different to have someone treat them like their own. That’s exactly who Miki is. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

Schedule
I work from home a few days a week and have an open weekend schedule, so Scout and I would love having another friend around to keep us company! We typically go on a minimum of 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon and night) for anywhere from 20 minutes- 1+ hours. Between walks, I have plenty of toys and mentally stimulating gadgets that Scout would be happy to share. :)

Safety, trust & environment
While I don't have a yard, my neighborhood is the perfect dog-friendly spot with lots of trails, streams and parks! If your dog is hanging with us, you can expect an itinerary full of very dog centered activities (as usual) haha. I'm experienced working with low and high energy dogs and more than happy to follow your dogs typical schedule- whatever that may be! To maintain safe and calm environment for all pets, I do require that dogs are crate trained and feel comfortable being crated if I need to leave the house for a short time.
