I grew up in a house with three Siamese cats, and animals have been a constant in my life ever since, from living with roommates in multi-pet households to volunteering with adoption agencies. My own cat Leona (a Siamese Tortie) keeps me well-versed in the particular needs of vocal, opinionated animals! I'm detail-oriented, a frequent communicator, and I take great photos, so the updates you get won't just be reassuring, they'll be worth saving. If you're looking for someone dependable in the Portland area, I'd love to meet your pet!

I know the level of care I'd want for my own cat Leona when I'm away, and I bring that same standard to every visit. Every drop-in includes fresh food and water, a litter box scoop or potty break, and affection on your pet's terms.

Micaela is an excellent pet sitter. Our cats, Mila and Luca thoroughly enjoyed her company and care. She provides detailed updates along with lots of pictures. Overall Micaela is a very reliable sitter and we hope to see her again!

As a pet owner myself, caring for animals is just part of my day. I'm best suited for drop-in visits and take on clients on an as-needed basis rather than a fixed weekly schedule - which means I'm a great fit for owners who need reliable coverage when traveling or something comes up.

- Good communication is really important to me! Before a first visit, it helps to know feeding amounts and schedules, where supplies are kept, and any routines or quirks. For cats - their play style and whether they're shy or social. For dogs - leash manners, any reactivity, and how they do with strangers.
