Availability
I do work full time (8-10 hour shifts) during the summer (May through August). I do receive lunch breaks where I can drop by and visit animals (Saskatoon only). During the rest of the year I will be in class 8-5 Monday through Friday.

As mentioned above; animal care is my number 1 priority. The safety and well-being of the animals come first. I am comfortable giving medications, injections and following routines for cats, dogs and small mammals if needed. I have been working at the same veterinary clinic for 5 years and have been trained in fear-free protocols since then. I am comfortable with spicy cats, anxious dogs, you name it. I am also very comfortable sending pictures and updates daily if requested so you know your fur babies are taken care of :)

I would like to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs, if they are high energy, if they have any triggers, commands, etc. I also need to know about any allergies your pets may have.
A typical day
Being a puppy mom right now my day consists of a lot of enrichment. Walks in parks, play dates with other dogs (only if permitted), lots of one-on-one training and lots of treats!

CURRENTLY ON CLINICAL ROTATIONS- Availability may be limited pending on-call. Shoot me a message anyway! I am a student at the WCVM and I have had experience with all types of animals for the past 15+ years. I currently work at a small animal veterinary clinic so I have cared for many dogs, cats and exotics during this time. Animal care is my top priority.

Micaela was amazing with our cats. She came to meet with us/our cats prior to her watching them. She asked all the questions (vet info, personalities, favourite toys and food, etc.). Our cats took to Micaela instantly. We could tell that our girls had been loved while we were away. We appreciated the daily “report cards” and photos. We will definitely be using Micaela’s services again!
Miceala is my go to for house sitting. She wonderfully takes care of all 3 of my pets when I am away. She is accommodating, sends tons of photos and leaves my house. Clean. Micheal is a very thoughtful person.
