I’m experienced with medication administration, basic animal first aid, and in-home grooming. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and calm, and care for every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs, enjoy jogging with high-energy pups, and adapt easily to different temperaments and routines.

On weekends, I have a very open schedule and can spend extended time with pets throughout the day. Weekend potty breaks can be provided at least every 2 hours. They will get plenty of attention, playtime, companionship, and care. For house sitting during the week, I stay overnight and can return during lunch breaks if your pet needs a potty break or check-in. After work, I return for the evening and overnight care to keep your pet comfortable and maintain their normal routine. Weekday potty breaks are typically every 3–4 hours. I also provide updates with pictures twice a day unless you’d prefer otherwise, so you can feel reassured and connected with your pet while you’re away. I understand every pet and household has different needs, so if you have questions about my schedule or your pet’s routine, feel free to message me directly!

Please let me know about any special needs, routines, medications, anxieties, or behaviors ahead of time so I can give your pet the best care possible! I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, untrained dogs, and pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. For everyone’s comfort and transparency, I also ask that owners disclose any indoor cameras or recording devices in the home during house sits, as required by Rover’s policy.

Hi, I’m Micaela! I’m currently serving in the Army at Fort Bragg, and reliability, responsibility, and communication are a huge part of who I am. I’ve been housesitting and caring for animals since I was young. I also have years of experience working with an exotic animal rescue nonprofit, so fish, reptiles, farm animals and exotic pets are absolutely welcome here 🐍🐠 What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every animal. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets, attentive to routines and medications, and comfortable caring for both energetic young pets and older animals who need extra support and gentleness. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always make sure owners feel updated and at ease while they’re away. Quick responses, dependability, and genuine love for animals are what you can always expect from me!

Micaela took awesome care of my two pups - a 14 yr old Yorkie and a 4 yr old German Shepherd. She sent regular updates. I didn’t worry one bit. Took great care of the house too. Would definitely hire again.
Micaela is amazing! She sent so many updates and pictures. She’s a really great communicator and our dogs adore her. We will definitely be rebooking with her!
Micaela did a fabulous job with our dog & our home!!! She walked our pup daily and had lots of cuddle time which our pup absolutely loved! We came back to a clean & cared for home and a very happy pup!! Which we are so grateful for!! We plan to use Micaela for our pup/house sitter any time she is available and we highly recommend her!!!
