Hi, I’m Micaela and I absolutely love dogs !! I’ve been around them my whole life and caring for them just comes naturally to me. I live right near Navy Yard Ballpark with a nice balcony where pups can hang out, stretch their legs, and enjoy some sunshine and fresh air! I really enjoy helping people and know how hard it can be to find a sitter you trust, especially last minute. That’s why I try to keep my availability super open and make things as easy as possible. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in, or just some company while you’re away, I’ll treat your pet like family and make sure they’re happy, safe, and loved. I’m just here to help however I can and I always look forward to meeting new furry friends! 🐾

Micaela was a great first-time sitter for our puppy! We were nervous to leave him for the first time but we felt at ease knowing we found an experienced sitter. All communication was prompt and we really appreciated receiving pictures of our sweet Ziggy, who was clearly having a great time relaxing during his stay. Micaela went above and beyond to make sure he ate dinner even though he was being fussy. We're thrilled to have a reliable local sitter and plan to rebook any time we're out-of-town and cannot bring our pup along.

I’m available full-time and have a very flexible schedule, which means I can easily fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. Whether it’s last-minute walks, extended playtime, or overnight care, I’m free to give your pet all the attention and love they need!

My apartment building has a protected area where I live! Both the park and the dark park are within walking distance of me! Due to my severe OCD, I keep my house and myself immaculate! Your adorable doggie is likewise safe at my house! :)
A typical day
It is my goal to keep pets entertained, active, and mentally occupied while I am watching them. we might do basic obedience exercises or tricks, go on a stroll, or play fetch. I would utilize interactive toys with cats, such as feather wands or laser pointers, and make engaging spaces with games of hide-and-seek or climbing structures. Adapting the activities to the pet's interests and level of energy guarantees an enjoyable and enriching experience!
