I’ve cared for animals my entire life, starting with the many pets I grew up with. Over the years, I’ve gained experience house sitting and pet sitting for families and friends, ensuring their pets were happy and well cared for. While I still currently house sit for those with pets, I also work on a farm, where I handle a wide range of animals daily, further strengthening my skills and dedication to animal care!

Pets' safety is always my top priority when pet sitting. Ensuring a pet’s safety in their own home requires attentiveness and preparation. I carefully follow owner’s instructions, supervise the pet closely, and make sure the environment is free of hazards. I keep emergency contacts on hand, monitor the pet for signs of stress, and am prepared to act quickly if needed. I've also worked with many anxious pets in the past so I understand that they may need a little more care and closeness. With a focus on security and comfort, I provide consistent care while keeping owners updated for peace of mind.

Micaela did a great job taking care of our “ boys”. We have two cats, and I am sure they appreciated everything that Micaela did for them. She cleaned up after them and fed them. Provided water and playtime and attention. We highly recommend Micaela if you want your babies well cared for when you go away.

Micaela is excellent. She is reliable, consistent and communicative. She lets me know how Bodhi did during each visit, sends photos and she’s very patient with the temperament of our grumpy cat. Much appreciated her support while away and hoping to have her in the future.

Schedule
I’m a college student with a part-time job, and I excel at multitasking. Spending time with animals is not only enjoyable for me but also a great way to unwind. I’m available for regular walks, house sitting, and multiple daily check-ins, as well as overnight stays. With my short work shifts and a flexible class schedule, I can easily accommodate your pet care needs.
