I've been around animals since I was a kid. I am very comfortable with dogs and cats. I have a dog at home and have dog-sat for friends and family since I was a teenager. Whether it's taking a long walk or cuddling on the couch, I am happy to give your pet whatever they need.

I do not offer boarding at my home but I plan to be respectful of both pet owners space as well as your pet's space. No matter where the pet is, whether that's on a walk or in a fenced yard, I will be alert and focused on the safety of your pet.

Miakoda was fantastic with our dogs! She took the time to meet them and make sure their needs were met and she handled them both really well. She was patient, confident and clearly very good with dogs. We felt very comfortable with her caring for our boys!
Miakoda did such a wonderful job with our cats. One is a flight risk and she was very careful in following our routine going into the house so he can’t escape. She was very communicative as well which was helpful. Will definitely use her as a sitter again.
Piper had a great time with Miakoda. Easy to communicate with and punctual, would certainly look to hire again.

Schedule
I have a dog at home so I am used to going on walks every day and a feeding routine. I've taken her to vet appointments and given her various medications for routine stuff like tick protectant. Over the years, I've helped friends and family take care of pets including walks, dog sitting, baths, and even puppy play dates.

- Please let me know any special care needs in advance! I find it very helpful to know bathroom schedules to provide the best care for your pet. It makes it easier for me to plan bookings when I know their usual routine. I also like to check if your pets are friendly with other animals to be the most prepared for any situation!
