When I was a kid, we tried many different pet lodging companies. Without fail, our dogs were always miserable there. My mom spent our entire vacation watching our dogs on a livestream because she thought they looked sad. After several years of this, we finally started having a petsitter. It was the best thing for our dogs and us! I always try to pay forward the kindness and love our dogsitters gave my pets. I treat other's homes and pets like they're my own. I never want a pet to be unhappy. There's nothing worse than worrying about your pet on vacation. Great communication is the key to a worry free vacay!

Information Mia T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any feeding or sleep quirks, so I can make your pet as comfortable as possible. My aunt's dogs prefer a warm blanket at night and a window view in the morning. Gotta keep up their routine!
A typical day
I live near Latrobe Dog Park, so if the owner approves, I'd walk the dog there or around the neighborhood. Fort McHenry is also within walking distance.

Pet care experience
I got my first dog when I was 9. She was my best friend in the whole world. Her name was Coco, and she was a Chocolate Lab. I always said the world needed more of her, so when we had the chance to breed her, we couldn't pass it up. My dad's family breed German Shepherds when he was a child and wanted that same experience for us. At 12, my house was full of 13 Chocolate Lab puppies! It was a sad day when they all went home to their new families. Luckily, my nieces and nephews live close by, and we kept her son, Zinger, who was 125lbs of pure muscle. Animals pick their owners not the other way around. Zinger was a Thomas from the day he was born. Unlike his mother who never had a health issue in her life and practically lived outside, Zinger was allergic to dust and grass and had seasonal allergies. We joked he was our inside dog. She was our outside dog. He took pills daily and weekly shots, so I'm no stranger to giving pets medication. Zinger and Coco passed away in 2020 and 2022. Since then, I've been dogsitting for neighbors and family friends. The dogs range from Yorkshire Terriers to St. Bernards. I love getting to spend time with furry friends. My bookclub calls me the dog whisperer because no matter who hosts, the dogs hang out with me all night. Dogs know dog people!
Reviews

Great communication, handled a few curveballs very well and without issue. Super nice and the dogs loved her

Mia was awesome. This was my first time traveling and needing a dog sitter for a recent dog I adopted so I really needed to find the right person too feel comfortable that he would do fine. They bonded almost immediately and Super did just super with Mia! I would definitely recommend her.

We are so happy with Mia’s services when we we were out. However more importantly so was Ruslan!

Mia was great! Will definitely use her again to watch our lab
