After searching a ton for the right sitter, I found myself looking at Mia’s profile. Her profile of being a recent high school graduate, the love for animals and how she ultimately wants to pursue a career as a Veterinarian did it for me. It meant my pups were going to be her priority while being away. I asked if she was available that week, in which she said yes. There was no indications she had to cancel previous bookings or anything scheduled the week I requested in the beginning. I scheduled a meet and greet to introduce her to the animals a week before I left. At first, she wanted to meet via FaceTime and after explaining that I prefer in person, she rescheduled the meet and greet at a later time that same day. Still okay and I was happy to agree to her time change because this was important to do prior to going out of town. The day of the meet and greet, she came by, my sister and I both ran down a list of things for each dog; in which she agreed to everything. Now I booked her for overnight sitting but the day of the meet and greet she asked if I wanted to do that still or if she can come every day. I didn’t want to be that person, so I gave her the option of deciding to come each day. Gave her the times to come each day. Not once did she explain she had no reliable transportation. The first day went off without a hitch. I have cameras and she came in on time, let the dogs out, played, and left at around 730-8. She immediately messaged me advising her ride got there early and she would agree to come a bit earlier the next day so the dogs weren’t without bathroom breaks for so long. I booked Mia for six days. 5 out of the 6 days she was late. I have my cameras recording one dog in a kennel for over 12 hours with no food, water, or bathroom break. My second dog, becoming anxiously scared of using the bathroom in the house because she knows better, yelping and pacing back and forth barking and trying to hold it in. My third dog zipping through the house trying to locate someone to let her out. & my youngest pup marking because she was left too long without a proper potty break. I even have video of Mia sleeping on my sofa during the day where it was agreed that proper exercise and outside time would be done. She explained all the dogs wanted to do was sleep so they napped. Each day she apologized and each day I accepted the excuse. The night before the 6th day I told her I would be home early the following day and she can leave at 2 so she can have back her Friday. She agreed. Well when the next day happened, another excuse of unreliable transportation and she did not show up until after 1pm. Mía attempted to clean the spots up herself however all it did was push it farther into the carpet. She offered a partial refund, I asked for 250 back after showing her what I walked into. There were stains all over my brand new purchased house. Pee markings on my fire place, my fan, the dog food bag, poop on the ground in my dining room. I sent Mia pictures and she was apologetic and truly I thought she was sympathetic. Part of my initial reason for the meet and greet was so she could see how I lived and how clean my home was other than the youngest pup having sometime accidents and explain how to use the spot cleaning spray when it occurred. Long story short, she messaged me after a day at agreeing to a refund because I spent over 24 hours cleaning my home and it still smells like pee. She understood my frustration and admitted she should have stayed overnight instead of coming each day which caused the problems in the first place. The stains didn’t come up, and ultimately I will need to replace my flooring immediately instead of enjoying my new home with weekend renovation projects like any new homeowner wants to do. She advised because she paid for her rides and it wasn’t her fault the dogs used the bathroom that no refund would be warranted. It’s a loss I’ll take because I’m just exhausted at this entire situation..but if I learned anything from this experience, don’t judge a book by how great the cover may seem. I wish nothing but the best for Mía as she has so many amazing reviews. This just happened to be not one of them.

Mia was very sweet and kept us updated as she watched over our sick Loki; which reassured that he was doing well and made us feel involved in his care while we were away! She did exactly as we asked and on top of that, Loki stayed calm and really enjoyed his stay. We saw how he felt comfortable with Mia and enjoyed her company when we went to pick him up! ? definitely recommend

Mazzi came back a different dog Whatever she did it was well received by him I am truly appreciative and would definitely use Mia again, as well as recommend her to everyone I know that would need her services.

Mia was awesome. I will use her again. I was away for a funeral and she send me plenty of updates, photos, and videos. She was very helpful. And even help bring her downstairs for me. Shes a great sitter.
