I've been taking care of pets my entire life! Mainly cats, but also dogs, lizards, rodents, fish, and a frog. I'm a huge animal lover and being able to spend time with them is a privilege! I pride myself on being able to read body language and signals, and am happy to give your pet space or all the attention in the world. I’ve pet sat for family and friends who have young cats and dogs, and have experience with adult and seniors as well. My 13 year old cat, Momo, lives back home in Ohio but can vouch that I spoil him rotten and will do the same with yours.

I always follow directions from the owner when it comes to feeding, areas on/off limits, and any special requests. Knowing the pet's personality and tendencies is also something I take great care in!

Mia was excellent with my cats. It was my first time hiring her while I was away for travel. She made sure to lmk how my cats were doing and made sure they were happy. She sent me amazing photos while I was away! She followed all my directions and my cats liked her a lot! Would totally book with her again!

If you’re traveling but worried about your companion animals getting the love, attention, and care that they are used to, Mia is your girl. She is gentle and kind and understands animal behavior, and they love her as much as she loves them. She grew up surrounded by animals and has been helping to care for them since she was able to walk. I know because I am her mother! I have accompanied her while she’s volunteered to care for shelter animals, and watched proudly as I saw how quickly they form bonds with and trust her. While you are traveling, Mia will take excellent care of your critters and make them her priority so you can be away worry-free.
If you find yourself able to hire Mia, consider yourself-- and your beloved animal lucky. Mia has a true heart of compassion, nurturance, and responsibility. Mia has watched (my now passed on) Jack Russell / Rat Terrier, Snickers. Snickers was one of the most anxious and particular pets I've ever owned. Mia was able to care for, comfort and provide the environment for Snickers that not may people have been able to. This was a true testament to her ability to have compassion, patience and most importantly with Snickers-- a sense of humor. Fast forward to the care she gives for my current bestie, a Smooth Fox Terrier names Billings who is also a bit anxious, a covid pup that requires a lot of instructions and rules to be looked after. Mia has watched Billings on so many occasions that I can't even count, starting when he was 6 weeks old (he's now 6.5). When Billings hears her name he goes wild with excitement. I can wholeheartedly guarantee that your most beloved animals will be in the most responsible and caring hands with Mia A+++, and no reservations.

I currently work part-time in food service, so my hours will vary by the day and I can be flexible with pet care and home visits!
