I served as president of my dog 4-H club for three years and was a member for five, giving me extensive hands-on experience in training, showmanship, and overall animal care. I’ve also worked for a professional AKC handler, where I helped show and care for her dogs. I’ve house-sat for multiple ethical AKC breeders, with particular experience in training, showing, and caring for Doberman Pinschers and Border Terriers. So I am comfortable with animals of many sizes and temperaments. I grew up with five dogs and was the primary caretaker from the age of 10, so I truly understand the responsibility and consistency animals need. I've worked with dogs from neo natal puppies to senior dogs. I’m very attentive to each dog’s individual needs and emotional cues, and I’m comfortable setting healthy boundaries when needed.
