Hi there! We are Robert and Mia! We’re experienced petsitters and have been working through Rover over four years. We’ve taken care of puppies, kittens, large dogs with training needs, dogs and cats with medical needs (injections, pill administration, topical ointments, and inhalers) pet birds, rabbits, and chickens. We are happy to take your pups for long walks or runs if they need extra energy burned off. Our typical visits involve dedicated time for attention and playing before a meal and administrative needs for your pet. We are life-long pet owners and currently have 7 chickens and two cats. We are very attuned to cat behavior. Some of our clients want to spend our entire visit cuddling while others want to watch from afar! We offer cat-lead cuddles and petting during the visit, cat enrichment and playtime, in addition to meals, and other administrative needs. During our visits, you'll receive at least three photos of your animal (unless they are being shy!), photos of refilled food, water, and cleaned litter boxes. We are happy to bring in packages, mail, and take out trash while you are out of town. Robert and I often attend sits together but if schedules don’t allow, one of us will take the visit. Working with us gives you peace of mind that there is always a trusted sitter with your pet! Please note that we do require a meet and greet prior to any sitting engagement for first time clients. This is for everyone's safety and well being!

Safety, trust & environment
We've had special needs animals and cared for them as well. Mia has done hospice care for three cats (two were mine). We are interactive, calm, and loving. Your babies will be our babies while you’re gone. We do provide cat-led interaction and make sure their stress level is our first and most important guide. Some of our clients love playtime while others watch from afar. Please note that we require a meet & greet before watching your animals for their happiness and everyone's saftey.
Ratings and reviews
Mia and Robert took excellent care of our Aussiedoodle when we were out of town for a few days. As it happened, there were bad thunderstorms during that time and our boy is terrified of thunder. While we were gone, they took special care to make sure he was not too scared during the storms and kept me regularly updated. It was such a comfort to know that they could take everything in stride and adjust the care and attention as needed. Thank you Mia and Robert!!
Mia & Robert were fantastic with our kitten Linx from the start. They showed him so much love and care, and from the detailed report cards and pictures they sent, I can see that Linx really enjoyed their visits! They made me feel so comfortable leaving him for the first time knowing that he was in good hands.

This was our first experience with rover and we were so nervous! Mia was amazing with our cats and always sent us detailed communication and pictures throughout the day. She eased our anxiety and quickly became a trusted and amazing cat sitter! We will definitely be using Mia again!

Schedule
Mia works from home and has a flexible schedule while Robert has a more traditional work schedule. We do try to limit our "during the day" bookings as Mia is often pulled into last minute meetings. I am a good fit for you and your pet if we have some flexibility around day-time visits ~1 hour of your requested booking time.
