Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. My current work schedule gives me a lot of flexibility during the weekdays, and I’m typically finished with work by 2 p.m. This allows me plenty of time for afternoon walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention they need throughout the day. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, a check-in while you’re away, or some extra companionship, I’m committed to providing reliable and attentive care.

About Mia R.

Safety, trust & environment

I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible in their own environment. I follow all provided instructions closely for feeding schedules, portion sizes, medications, litter box cleaning, and exercise/playtime. I make sure fresh water is always available, litter areas are kept clean, and pets get attention, enrichment, and comfort while their owners are away. I also prioritize safety and respect for the home—keeping everything tidy, double-checking doors and locks, and making sure pets are secure before leaving. I provide regular updates with photos and notes so owners know how their pet is doing and can feel at ease while they’re away. My goal is to make it feel like their pet’s normal routine continues smoothly, just with a little extra care and attention.I’m

Information Mia R. would like to know about your pet

I always like to ask about their feeding schedule, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions or allergies so I can make sure they’re eating exactly what they’re used to without any issues. It’s also important to know about their behavior and personality. For example, whether they’re friendly or shy with new people, how they react to other animals or strangers, and if they have any triggers like loud noises or certain handling preferences. This helps me interact with them in a way that makes them feel secure and avoids stress. I also make sure to understand their medical needs, including any medications, health conditions, or special instructions from the owner or vet. Emergency contacts and the location of their vet are also essential in case anything unexpected happens. Finally, I ask about their routine like walk times, favorite toys, sleeping habits, and house rules so I can keep things as consistent and familiar as possible while their owner is away.

A typical day

When I’m caring for pets, I focus on activities that match each animal’s personality, energy level, and routine so they feel comfortable and happy while their owner is away. For dogs, this often includes walks around the neighborhood or nearby paths, giving them time to explore, sniff, and get exercise. I also like to play games like fetch or tug-of-war, which help them burn energy and stay engaged in a fun way.

Treating Every Pet Like Family

Pet care experience

I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a Pit Bull mix, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and a cat, giving me experience with pets of different sizes, personalities, and needs. I cared for my childhood dog from the time he was a puppy through his senior years, which taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and compassionate care at every stage of life. As a recent college graduate, I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own yet, but I miss having animals around and love any opportunity to spend time with them. Pet sitting allows me to do something I genuinely enjoy while helping owners feel confident their pets are in caring, reliable hands. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
