As a pet caregiver, my experience is both personal and practical. I am a multi cat owner myself, having cared for my 5 year old baby with FIV for some time before moving out of my parents house and leaving him with my brother, which has deepened my understanding of specialized care needs and managing chronic health conditions. I care for pets by keeping them comfortable, safe, and on the routine they’re used to. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and any specific routines or preferences. I also make sure to give pets plenty of attention and companionship while keeping their space clean and secure. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality and adjust my approach to what makes them feel most comfortable.

Mia is wonderful with my dog! I don’t have to I worry at all while I’m away if she’s caring for him. She communicates often and sends lots of photos. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your dog, it’s Mia.

Mia house sat for me over christmas. Honestly, I was very disappointed with the whole experience. First off, she brought someone over to my home without asking and without my knowledge. It was inconsiderate and not something I am comfortable with. Secondly, she did not follow my instructions regarding feeding my cats. I explained it to her in person, as well as left a detailed message. She did not clean up the cat’s wet food after they ate, and she gave them way too much dry food. There were chunks of dried up wet food all over my carpet and hardwood floor when I got back. The cat’s wet food plates were also left very dirty. The plates should’ve been cleaned immediately after each meal. Lastly, she hardly sent any photos during the booking when i’d specifically asked for lots of pictures to be sent. I would not recommend Mia to watch your pets.
Mia was a wonderful pet sitter. She watched our two dogs and was very flexible with scheduling. It was so reassuring to see how relaxed the dogs were with her!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy having the opportunity to care for pets throughout the week. I’m able to dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention they need. I’m also comfortable adjusting my routine around each pet’s individual schedule and needs. 🐾
