For an entire decade, I've been on an incredible journey with my beloved Lily, pouring my heart and soul into her care. From teaching her essential skills to keeping her squeaky clean, whipping up tasty homemade meals and treats, and being her rock when cancer knocked on our door at just 8 years old. Lily's triumph over adversity, becoming a spirited tripaw after her cancer battle, instilled in me a deep confidence in caring for dogs with unique needs. I made a life altering decision, taking a two year break from my job to be Lily's dedicated caregiver. Our bond grew stronger, but our time together was cut short by a cancer recurrence at age 10. Lily's legacy fuels my passion for extending that same level of care to your furry friends. As a former elementary teacher, my nurturing instincts run deep, whether with children or animals. My approach centers around catering to each dog's individual needs, which is why I host only one pup/client at a time. This way, my full attention is devoted to making their stay exceptional. My role as a stay at home wife and full time pet caregiver without children creates the perfect setting for quality playtime, nourishment, walks, and cozy companionship 24/7. Every dog I care for becomes an honorary member of our family, receiving not just care, but genuine love and affection, just like Lily enjoyed.

Mia and her husband are absolute gems. Can't believe we found them. We keep thanking our stars for that. Joey has never gotten this much love and care before. It's like Joey's 5 star vacation time. He goes on amazing adventure walks, gets a lot of brain stimulation time through puzzles and tons of cuddles. Joey loves them both a lot. This is visible through all the videos and photos. We get a lot of detailed updates with plenty of photos and videos throughout the day. This really puts our mind at ease knowing Joey is happy. We cannot recommend them both enough.
We recently boarded our small anxious dog with Mia for 9 days, and we couldn't be happier with the care she provided. She’s an absolute expert with dogs as she is caring, gentle, and kind. Mia took the time to understand our dog's needs and routine, ensuring he felt comfortable and well-loved. She’s also an excellent communicator, keeping us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Mia to anyone looking for someone who is not only thorough but truly passionate about animal care!
Mia is an amazing sitter and my dog loved staying with her. From start to finish, Mia has been wonderful throughout the whole process and sent us updates including photos and videos, which made me feel completely at ease. With no pets or children of my own, I'm fully attuned to accommodating any guidelines you have for your precious dog. From our snug couch to our inviting bed, your dog is more than welcome to snuggle up and relax. When it comes to meals, I'm at your service. Just provide me with clear instructions, and I'll prepare a delightful meal that meets your pet's dietary requirements.
A typical day
I offer a wealth of engaging mental stimulation exercises that incorporate treats and toys, keeping your furry friend's mind active and sharp. For an extra dose of outdoor fun, I'm more than happy to chauffeur your dog to various parks, offering options such as private walking trails, tranquil parks, and enclosed dog parks. Depending on your pet's preferences, I am prepared to take them on an adventure.
