Safety, trust & environment
I do not currently offer overnight bookings, but check back in! I currently reside in the Fremont neighborhood and live in a dog friendly home with 2 dog friendly housemates, so field trips to my house or nearby parks are always possible. During the summer I often work from home various days of the week; please feel free to check in about “doggy daycare” style services!
Information Mia L. would like to know about your pet
It would be helpful for me to know if your dog has any triggers that I need to be aware of while we're out walking or in your home. Are they afraid of bikes riding by, or not a fan of large dogs? Or maybe they need to be approached slowly when meeting new people; whatever the case may be, please let me know so I can create a positive experience for your dog. I have no breed preferences and am open to anything (cats included)!
A typical day
I enjoy being outdoors, and would love to cater your pup's walking experience to their needs. Whether that means sticking to a familiar neighborhood route, exploring a new nearby hiking trail, or even going on a jog or a run, I'm up for it all! If your dog is non-reactive and enjoys the company of other pups, I love bringing my small dog Josie along for buddy walks :).

Experienced, energetic dog lover!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Mia, and I am an animal lover through and through. I've had dogs (and a whole host of other animals!) my whole life, and am currently mom to Josie, a foster-fail rescue pup. I moved to Seattle for college 6 years ago and have since stuck around — in addition to my day job, I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter for the past 10 years. I’ve also been involved in dog rescue throughout my life, and currently volunteer as a dog walker at the Seattle Animal Shelter. Through my work with rescue, I have handled dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments both at various rescue facilities and in my own home as a foster parent. My foster pups have ranged from fearful to anxious to dog reactive and everything in between—I’ve seen it all! I am excited to work with your dog (or other animals) and all of their quirks to make their experience a positive one.
Reviews

Mia was great with Hilde! Super engaged and communicative during the session! Hilde can’t wait for her friend to come back!!

Mia did amazing with my boy! She was very receptive and learned what my dog needed and followed instructions very well. My dog had the bestest time with all the trips. Looking forward to having her take care of Mixtape in the future!

Mia was super responsive, flexible, thorough, and took great care of our pup! Thanks so much, Mia!
Mia was great with my dog Pup providing photos and a summary of the walk. Would definitely recommend!
