Hi, I’m Mia! A boutique, home-style dog-sitting experience in Palmetto Bay. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home-away-from-home for dogs here in Palmetto Bay. I know how stressful it can feel to leave your pup behind, which is why I treat every dog who stays with me like part of my own family. I offer in-home boarding in a private, upscale setting, where your dog will enjoy personalized care, a calm and comfortable home environment, and daily access to a deluxe outdoor dog playground with nearly half an acre of beautifully maintained space for running, play, and enrichment. It includes agility-style equipment, open turf for free play, and plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs safely in a fully enclosed area, plus tons of playing, cozy indoor spaces, toys, and much more. Whether your pup loves playtime, snuggles, or just lounging around, I make sure their individual needs are met. Safety and care are my top priorities. ⛑️🐾 I require up-to-date vaccinations, keep a clean environment, and have experience handling different personalities and energy levels. I’m also comfortable administering basic medications if needed. For drop-offs and pick-ups 🔄🐾 I keep my personal dogs in a separate room to create a calm and comfortable environment for arriving or departing pups. Dogs can sometimes get very excited during these moments, so I like to keep things relaxed and organized. Once everyone has settled, I begin introducing the dogs gradually to ensure a safe and positive experience for all. Meet & Greets & Introductions🤝🐾 For everyone’s comfort and safety, I usually start meet-and-greets with my personal dogs in a separate room as well. This allows your pup to first explore the space calmly and meet me without too much excitement. Once everyone is relaxed, I begin slow and controlled introductions to make sure the dogs feel comfortable with each other. I like to keep the environment calm and positive, especially during first meetings, since dogs can get very excited when meeting new friends. This gradual approach helps create a safe and happy experience for everyone. I’m always fully transparent with my clients about how I manage introductions. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy – Pawmetto Stay & Play 🔁🐾 To ensure a smooth and personalized experience for every guest, I kindly ask that all drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled within the following time windows: Boarding 🏡: 🕒 Drop-Off: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM 🕒 Pick-Up: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Day Care ☀️ 🕒 Drop-Off: 8:00 AM 🕒 Pick-Up: 5:00 PM Please confirm your preferred times in advance so I can have everything ready for your pup’s arrival and departure .🤍 For stays exceeding a 24-hour period based on the confirmed times, Rover may apply extended care fees, similar to a daycare rate. ✨ I always do my best to accommodate special circumstances when possible—just let me know ahead of time! Pawmetto Stay & Play – Care Requirements 🛡️ 🐾 Up-to-date vaccinations (rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella) P.S. Proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required before the start of any boarding or daycare stay. 🛡️ Currently on flea/tick prevention 🍽️ Any feeding instructions or special care needs AirTag / Safety Tags🔖🐾 For added peace of mind, I may place a temporary safety tag or AirTag on a dog’s collar during their stay, especially for first-time visits. This is only used as an extra precaution in a new environment where dogs may feel excited or unsure at first. It helps ensure an additional layer of safety while they are settling in. I always prioritize comfort and will respect any owner preferences—just let me know if you prefer not to use this. Bath Time Available Upon Request 🛁🐾 I’m not a professional groomer, but I do offer light bathing upon request with specific instructions from the owner. You’re welcome to provide your own shampoo, or I can use high-quality shampoo and conditioner suitable for your fur baby to keep them clean, fresh, and comfortable during their stay. Walks & Exercise 🏃🏋️♂️ ▶️ At Pawmetto Stay & Play, dogs enjoy a large, securely fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, play, explore, and socialize. We also provide supervised outdoor time, enrichment activities, agility equipment, games, and mental stimulation throughout the day. Because of our spacious setup and active play schedule, routine walks are not included during boarding or daycare stays unless medically necessary. If you would like your dog to receive additional individual walks, they can be arranged for $15 per walk. Dogs with a medical need requiring walks will be accommodated at no additional charge. This policy helps ensure every pup receives safe, supervised exercise while enjoying our home-style environment. 🐾💕 Daily updates pictures and videos 📸🐾🎥 You can count on regular updates, pictures, and messages while you’re away, so you always know how your dog is doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your pup the love, attention, and routine they’re used to at home. I’d love to welcome your furry family member into my home! 🐾

We are fortunate to have a dog with special needs, and Mia is an exceptional sitter. She provides him with excellent care, ensuring he receives all his medications and showering him with affection during his stay with her.

Schedule
I work part-time with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my time around pet care and ensure each dog receives plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. When I am briefly away, my husband Manuel works hand in hand with me, sharing the same hands-on canine experience and care standards, so your pet is always supervised and well cared for. Our family is very involved in the care and love of the dogs we host. My son Alexander and Raul also help with daily interaction, offering extra playtime, snuggles, hugs, and kisses to make sure your fur baby feels happy, loved, and at home.🤗🐾

In my home, dogs enjoy a safe and cozy environment with a fenced yard and constant supervision. I have two friendly, well-trained pups who love making new friends, so your dog will always have company. (Note: One is my mom’s certified emotional support animal and divides her time between our two homes, so she may not always be present during every stay.) Safety, cleanliness, and lots of love are my top priorities.” Small footprint note: For everyone’s safety and to keep things simple, I only accept bookings made directly through Rover. A typical day includes morning walks, playtime in the fenced yard, and plenty of cuddles and rest breaks indoors. I keep each dog’s routine as close to home as possible, with fun activities like fetch, tug-of-war, or just relaxing together. Every pup gets a balance of exercise, attention, and love throughout the day.
