I am currently taking a break from college and have a lot of free time. I do lots of pet sitting and dog walking through Rover. I also teach art classes to adults with disabilities. Besides a couple afternoons a week when I’m teaching, I have a pretty flexible schedule.

I take caring for my pets (and your pets) very seriously. I currently have two dogs at home who are fed twice a day. I spend a lot of time playing with them outside and taking them for walks. When we’re not playing fetch, or tug, or out for a walk, you’re almost guaranteed to find me snuggling my pups on the couch or sleeping in a bed that is hardly mine at this point.
Information Mia K. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know how many pets you have and how old they are. I also need to know if they require any specialized care when it comes to feeding, medications, movement, and interactions with other people and animals.
A typical day
I’m happy to play with your pets in many ways, depending on their preferences! I can take them for walks or to a park. We can play fetch, or tug, wrestle, or just chase each other around. I’m comfortable playing with lots of different cat toys and hiding treats in stimulating ways.

I love animals more than people.
Pet care experience
I’m an EMT who grew up living with at least one dog since I was 4 years old- not the mention the cats, hamsters, and tortoise. I have loads of experience caring for both my own pets and other people’s. I truly do love most animals more than I do most people. I’m the girl you pass while walking your dog who asks to pet them. I will care for your pets like they are my own.

Reviews

Mia was fantastic! She was very responsive and was great about sending pictures and updates. Our little dog can be very anxious and needy when we are away, but Mia gave him plenty of love and attention and was patient with him despite his quirks. Would definitely book her again!

Mia took excellent care of our big goldendoodle and our house while we were out of town. She provided regular updates with pictures and was really mindful about the heat and storms and other issues that tend to effect our pup. She left the house in great shape, too! We would definitely hire Mia to watch our dog again.

Thank you so much!

Mia was amazing! Our anxious pup instantly warmed to her during the meet & greet, and she took great care of him during the time we were away. She was respectful of our home and everything was tidy when we got back. And she took awesome pictures and videos!! Would 100% recommend Mia.
