I’m a German au pair currently living in Amsterdam, taking care of two children during the week. Outside of those hours, I have a lot of flexibility and would love to spend my time pet-sitting—both to save up for university and because I genuinely love animals. Growing up, my family couldn’t have dogs or cats due to my dad’s allergy to animal dander, but I did have pets such as budgies. This taught me responsibility and daily animal care from a young age and made me appreciate every opportunity I now have to spend time with animals. I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I regularly look after my boyfriend’s dog when his family is away, I feed and care for my neighbor’s cat during holidays, and I’ve often gone on walks with dogs belonging to family friends. I’m comfortable with routines, walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets calm, loving attention. I’m responsible, patient, and affectionate, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
