Pet care experience

Eager to meet your hound

I've been a pet sitter since I was a kid, and got my first dog Jonesy 11 years ago. He's a blue cattle dog who's currently staying with my parents in Australia while I spend a year in the UK. I'm an attentive carer who loves to walk, run and play with dogs. I've done five sits through Trusted House Sitters, and received a five-star review for each one. I'm responsible, patient, tidy, and will ensure your pet has safe and fun time.

Cody was so excited to be dropped off with Mia and Molly for the first time, and quickly felt comfortable staying with them. They were patient with his quirks, helped him feel at ease and kept me updated throughout his stay. Mia was particularly calm and helpful when he had to go to the vet unexpectedly (Cody’s fault!) and kept in touch the whole time. They took him on long walks and made sure he was well looked after, especially in the hot weather. I’d thoroughly recommend them to take care of any dog and will happily use them again. Thanks both!

Mia and Molly have been excellent both times they've looked after Quinie - super accommodating to us, really adaptive to Quinie's needs and and quirks as a nervous and dog-reactive dog, and she's always come back a relaxed and tired dog. Would highly recommend!

Mia and Molly were fantastic sitters for our 3 night trip away. they have such a relaxed way about them and put Bobby at ease. They took him along to their activities, so it sounds like he was well entertained! They kept up good contact and reassured us that Bobby was safe and happy. When we returned Bobby was very content and relaxed, so we know he had a good time. Our house was also well taken care of - thank you :) We would definitely book you again!

Mis loves dogs and it shows. I lived with Mia for 1.5 years and she would look after my dog if I went out. She would walk Trixie while I was at work and snuggle with her if I was out at night and I’d always receive photos of Trixie, too. Me and Trixie miss Mia a lot! Mia grew up with dogs and is extremely caring and I would recommend Mia to anyone who needs a pet sitter ❤️

Schedule

Between my partner Molly and me, someone will always be available to keep your dog company. I'm a freelance journalist and work part-time at a cafe, so my schedule changes week to week. I typically work in the evenings and am free during the day to walk, play and relax with your dog. Molly works from home full-time, so she's around during the day and free in the evenings. She's a highly experienced pet sitter and loves spending time with dogs.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a large fenced-in backyard and live close to a large park. I've never seen another dog in the backyard of our building before, so it's ideal for nervous dogs! If your dog needs a crate, we have plenty of space to set one up in our flat (although it would need to be your crate as we don't own one).

A typical day

I am usually home during the day, and live an active lifestyle. I run most mornings, and enjoy long walks too. I typically like to get out and about with the dogs we sit - exploring Glasgow and playing in the park. My partner Molly works from home, so if I am in the office or working in the evenings, she's always available to care for a dog. She loves the outdoors and is a playful and attentive carer.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs I should be aware of. We live on the fourth floor of our building, so if your dog has difficulty with stairs, we might not be a good fit. As a person who loves running, I'm comfortable minding/ walking high-energy breeds.
