Safety, trust & environment
My priority is always creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. I carefully follow owner instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and daily routines. I pay close attention to behavior and wellbeing, keep spaces clean and secure, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, patience, and care while their owners are away.
Information Mia G. would like to know about your pet
I like to learn as much as possible about each pet before providing care. Information about feeding schedules, medications, medical conditions, exercise needs, favorite activities, behavioral quirks, and daily routines helps me provide the best possible experience. The more I know about a pet’s personality and needs, the better I can keep them happy, comfortable, and safe while in my care.
A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s individual needs and personality. For dogs, this may include walks, playtime, exercise, enrichment activities, feeding, and companionship. For cats, I focus on interactive play, attention, feeding routines, litter box maintenance, and creating a comfortable environment. My goal is to ensure every pet receives exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and attentive care throughout the day.

Pet care experience
I have over five years of hands-on pet care experience and a strong passion for animal welfare. Through caring for my own pets and completing veterinary assistant coursework at Douglas College, I have developed knowledge of animal behaviour, health, safety, and daily care routines. My veterinary assistant training included exposure to animal handling, wellness clinics, and shelter environments, helping me understand the importance of routine, observation, and compassionate care. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining feeding schedules, monitoring behaviour, and communicating with owners. While my strongest experience is with cats, I have also spent time around dogs and understand the importance of exercise, companionship, consistency, and positive interactions. I am reliable, patient, and committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience for every pet in my care.
