I like to hang out with my dogs in my backyard or take my younger one for a stroll in Rock Creek Park. I tend to walk them around the neighborhood on two slow strolls a day.

My first experience with taking care of pets was at age 7 when I provided a home for my first cat. As a child, I expanded the number to 5 more cats. I began dog sitting in 2002 and have continued to take care of my friend's dogs, being an aunt to my sister's dog, and adopting two dogs on my own. I am an avid animal lover and find so much joy and happiness in taking care of animals. I make their health and safety a priority and that they are loved and cared for while you are away. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and cuddling them so they feel safe and secure. Since I have grown up with both cats and dogs, I know that cats like to come to you and not vice versa. I respect their space and make sure they have what they need and feel safe and loved.

Mia is attentive, responsive to messages, and has charmed my shy cats into coming out when she visits. Glad to have found her!
Mia is fantastic! She’s super understanding and patient with our grumpy old cat and he loves her!
Mia did great taking care of my shy cats for a week and even got one to come say hi to her every day! She followed every instruction and even picked up some neighbor’s packages for me. Will definitely book again.
Mia is amazing!! So glad to know her! She is so great to work with and I feel like my cat is in wonderful hands. I hope she is available for my next trip.
