I’m a teacher so this summer I’m earning some extra cash by nannying and dogsitting. I’m available 4-5 days a week including the weekends (and have no problem helping in the early mornings and late nights), so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m very willing to fit multiple in-house visits and dog walking/running into my routine.

A typical day
I love to exercise the high-energy dogs I watch. I typically take them on long walks or bring them on my runs, which owners seem to prefer, and throwing the ball and playing fetch.

Pet care experience
I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a little kid, ranging from mini Australian shepherds to retrievers, labs and German shepherds. This means I have experience training young puppies and taking care of senior dogs. I also have experience with taking dogs on runs (since I love to run), which helps with high-energy dogs. I love dogs and am more than happy to help other people with pet care since I know finding the right person for the job can be difficult. :)

She has a keen eye for the physical and emotional well being of pets and is always able to pick up on their distress of discomfort before it becomes an issue. She is incredibly active and loves taking dogs on walks and runs through local trails. She has worked with dogs of all activity levels and sizes and carries herself with confidence when caring for them.
Mia took amazing care of our puppy, Goose! She has watched him ever since he was a puppy and until now as a full grown 100lb, high energy dog. She is very comfortable walking him and house sitting him. She is also very reliable. I would highly recommend her for any pet sitting or walking services!
Mia is an amazing and responsible pet sitter. She’s watched my cat multiple times for me when I travel. I’m never worried about whether or not my cat is being cared for, I know she’s in good hands. She makes sure all of my cat’s needs are met and spends a good amount of time giving her affection.
