Friendly and trustworthy dog sitter
As a lifelong dog owner and lover, I have a deep understanding of the needs of dogs of all ages and breeds. Growing up, we rescued all our dogs—from spaniels to collies to our beautiful dalmatian Joe. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and everything in between, as I watched and cared for our dogs throughout their lives. I come from a family with a deep appreciation for animals. My grandfather was a dog handler, and his knowledge and respect for dogs have been a huge inspiration to me. My parents also instilled in me a strong connection with and respect for our pets, raising us in a home where dogs were truly part of the family. During lockdown, I used dog-sitting apps like ‘Borrow My Doggy,’ where I further developed my skills in providing pet care. I’ve also developed a keen interest in dog training, having read many books on the subject, and I enjoy applying the techniques I’ve learned to better understand and communicate with dogs. Many of my family and friends are dog owners, and I spend much of my free time joining them on walks or helping care for their pups when they’re busy. I feel happiest when I’m in the company of a dog, and while I can’t commit to getting my own furry friend just yet, I’m excited to dedicate my time and energy to providing your dog with the best possible care and attention. I can’t wait to meet your pup and make them feel loved and looked after while you’re away!

Mia is a wonderful pet lover with a kind and gentle manner. She fully understands what it takes to care for a pet and is extremely reliable. Mia is fabulous at exercising my dogs, always has complete control and they both enjoy their cuddles with her afterwards!
Mia has a real passion for animals and has looked after my dogs on a number of occasions. They are always well cared for and get super excited whenever she comes to the house... they know fun times are ahead! Would recommend Mia as a responsible and caring animal lover.
Mia is a fun, caring and thoughtful person. She has always loved animals and treated them with the upmost care and respect. Mia frequently looks after my 2 labradoodle dogs who absolutely adore her and her endless games of fetch and long walks! Animals gravitate towards her calm energy, and attach to her easily.

Schedule
I work full time in the centre of Bristol with work from home days. I finish work 17:00-17:30 so am available after then. Otherwise I am free on the weekends and bank holidays. Outside of work hours I have plenty of time to spend with your dog, feeding, playing and walking them.

Safety, trust & environment
I live with my boyfriend and three female friends. They too all love dogs and have lots of dog care experience, but I will be the only one providing care for your pup, while boarding at my house they may just receive extra attention from my roomies ! While I only have a small fenced yard, my home is overlooking a huge park park which I would frequently take your dog to to stretch their legs. I understand that exercise is important for a dog's physical and mental health, so will be sure to take them for walks and play with them throughout the day. As well as exercise and loo breaks I will provide them with food and stick to the advised feeding schedule and dietary requirements. I will also ensure they have access to fresh water at all times. Additionally, as dogs thrive on attention and affection, I’ll be sure to show them love, give them attention and ensure that they feel comfortable around me. After our playtime and walks I understand rest is important and am always up for a cuddle !
A typical day
I would love to take your dog on walks around the neighborhood and to the big park next to my house. I would also play fetch with them and play with their favourite toy. I have a car and enjoy taking my mums dogs to places such as Blagdon Lake, nearby beeches and Leigh woods. If you were comfortable I would love to explore new places with your dog !
