As a lifelong dog owner and lover, I have a deep understanding of the needs of dogs of all ages and breeds. Growing up, we rescued all our dogs—from spaniels to collies to our beautiful dalmatian Joe. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and everything in between, as I watched and cared for our dogs throughout their lives. I come from a family with a deep appreciation for animals. My grandfather was a dog handler, and his knowledge and respect for dogs have been a huge inspiration to me. My parents also instilled in me a strong connection with and respect for our pets, raising us in a home where dogs were truly part of the family. During lockdown, I used dog-sitting apps like ‘Borrow My Doggy,’ where I further developed my skills in providing pet care. I’ve also developed a keen interest in dog training, having read many books on the subject, and I enjoy applying the techniques I’ve learned to better understand and communicate with dogs. Many of my family and friends are dog owners, and I spend much of my free time joining them on walks or helping care for their pups when they’re busy. I feel happiest when I’m in the company of a dog, and while I can’t commit to getting my own furry friend just yet, I’m excited to dedicate my time and energy to providing your dog with the best possible care and attention. I can’t wait to meet your pup and make them feel loved and looked after while you’re away!
