This summer is busy because I will be transitioning into college! I usually update my calendar to about 2-3 months in advance and try to update it as much as I can. I’ll be living in Monmouth in August so I will change my area soon!

Safety, trust & environment

I can easily crate a dog and learn your preferences on training. I love playtime and will play as long as your dog wants. On the other side of that if the dog just wants to snuggle I’d also be happy to sit and snuggle too! If you do not want the dog to go on a walk, I will keep the dog on your property (in house/backyard) unless specifically told not to go somewhere in the house.

Information Mia D. would like to know about your pet

Give me your best description on what a normal walk would look like with the dog and their personality! I’d love to know ahead of time so I can adjust my care to their needs.

A typical day

I love to engage all parts of what a dog really needs in my visits. My average dog sitting day would consist of a walk (distance depends on the dog and the weather), a type of play time, get a treat or two, training (if needed), and some downtime.

I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I’ve experienced walking the shyest dogs to the most aggressive dogs. My main focus is to understand each dog and help them become comfortable. I’d love to meet your dogs!

Mia did a great job taking care of Mac for the weekend! She was super easy to work, left the house in great shape and we hope to use her again!

Thank you for keeping our babies while we were gone. You did a fantastic job and they looked really happy.

Mia has always had a heart for animals. She is both tender and attentive to their needs. Over the past few months she has grown in her capacity to care for animals, specifically dogs, as a volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society. Mia volunteers at least once a week, and works with a variety of dogs, all with unique needs and abilities. I highly recommend her

Mia did a great job of taking care of our dog Rio, she took him for walks, to the dog park, potty training , playtime and more. She also is trained by the Oregon Humane Society and volunteers there with all different kinds of dogs! Mia is fun, sweet and will love your dog.
