Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep everything feeling calm, familiar, and low-stress. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, litter box or potty routines, and any notes you leave regarding behavior, preferences, or special care. I know how important routine can be—especially for cats—and I try to keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I’m very attentive to details such as securely locking doors, checking gates, keeping food and water areas clean, and making sure pets are safe and comfortable before I leave. I also pay close attention to each animal’s personality and body language, whether they’re playful and social or shy and need a slower, gentler approach. I always want pets to feel safe with me and cared for in a way that feels natural and respectful to them. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel reassured while you’re away.
Information Mia C. would like to know about your pet
Before a visit, I always appreciate knowing your pet’s routine, personality, and any special preferences that help them feel comfortable. Things that are especially helpful include feeding instructions, medications or supplements, favorite toys or activities, litter box or potty routine, any fears or sensitivities, hiding spots, and how they typically respond to new people. I also like to know what helps them feel most relaxed—whether that’s playtime, treats, quiet companionship, or simply giving them space. Every pet is different, and the more I know ahead of time, the better I’m able to make their time with me feel safe, familiar, and stress-free while you’re away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable at their own pace. For cats, that might mean interactive play with wand toys, tossing a favorite toy across the room, brushing if they enjoy it, sitting quietly together for company, or simply giving them affection and attention on their terms. Some cats want to play right away, while others prefer a calm presence nearby—and I’m happy with both. For dogs, depending on their energy level and routine, that may include walks, playtime, outdoor breaks, belly rubs, fetch, or just companionship and attention. My favorite part of every visit is getting to know each pet’s unique personality—what makes them feel relaxed, happy, playful, or safe—and making the time together enjoyable for them while keeping their routine as familiar as possible.

Loveing care for your furry babies
Pet care experience
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl, there was almost always a cat or dog beside me in every photo. Being around animals has always felt natural to me, and caring for them has been one of the greatest joys in my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats, dogs, birds, fish, and even lizards. Today, my home is shared with several beloved rescue cats, each with their own personality, routines, and little quirks that make me smile every day. My path into pet sitting happened naturally while working as a caregiver, where I often formed close bonds not only with my clients, but with their pets as well. Before long, families began trusting me to care for their animals too—and I quickly realized how much I truly loved it. I also have extensive hands-on experience caring for senior pets and animals with special needs, including medication administration, insulin injections, subcutaneous fluids, special feeding routines, and gentle comfort care. Providing comfort, patience, and a good quality of life to animals—especially those needing extra support—has been one of the most meaningful parts of my experience. Whether I’m dropping in to feed and care for your cat, keeping your pet company while you’re away, or taking your dog for a safe and enjoyable walk, my goal is always to help them feel comfortable, secure, and loved in their own space. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I treat every animal with the same kindness, patience, attention, and affection I would want for my own. I’d be honored to care for your beloved babies.

Reviews

Mia is wonderful! She absolutely spoiled my kitties while I was away. I was never concerned or worried about them while I was gone. She is very communicative and gave me such peace of mind so I could enjoy my vacation. Highly recommend booking Mia for your kitty needs 😊
Mia was a wonderful pet-sitter to our 3 cats when we went on a week vacation. We have a cat who needs daily insulin, and Mia was able to assist with that cat's needs, and also provided lots of love and attention to all of our little fur babies. She provided daily, in-depth communications, with lots of photos so that we knew our crew was doing well at home while we were gone. We cannot recommend Mia highly enough, she is a great sitter and very kind person. Ben and Katie M.

Mia was very attentive to the dogs and was excellent about communicating with us. She took lots of photos and videos. She was on time and very caring. I had a great weekend away because I was able to relax knowing my dogs were in great hands!

Mia has lots of experience with cats and my cat Leo enjoyed her visits.
