I have owned multiple poodle mixes, a full blooded long haired dachshund, and frequently walk and trained a full blooded Dutch Sheppard. I have also participated in an intensive month long training for dogs such as Dutch Sheppard’s who require more direction and skill to handle as they are working dogs. I am comfortable walking and or taking care of dogs who have difficultly around newcomers or need training on walks without barking or tugging extensively on the leash. Additionally I love all types of animals and own two cats as well which I have taken care of full time. I change the litter box at least twice daily. Any special instructions needed to best assist your pets can be relayed to me at any time! After all pets are just an extension of your family and should be cared for properly.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, loving environment for my cats. I have a screened in patio to allow them “outdoor” time. When going to a clients home I try to be mindful of not only the pets routine which can be huge, but also how they react in different environments. I usually love getting a run down of the pets personality prior to agreeing to sit to make sure I am also a good match for them!

Mia was amazing during our long trip. She was very communicative when our older dog started getting a hot spot from his allergies/4th of July anxiety and willing to try anything I suggested for helping remedy that. You can tell she really cares for our dogs when we’re gone and leaves our house in perfect condition. Highly recommend!
Our dog Sully had a great weekend with Mia! She sent lots of videos and pictures and allowed us to feel confident he was in great hands.
Mia was great with our dog and cat while we were away for a few weeks. I am sure our pup is going to miss all the extra love and attention.
Mia took care of my dogs for 2 weeks and did a great job. Came home to a clean place and happy dogs. She sent pics and videos while I was gone and picked up mail for me. She went the extra mile and came back to help with my dogs when my flight was cancelled. So appreciative of her time and efforts.

Mia was a dream sitter for Mowgli! She sent videos and pics while we were away and kept us updated on their activities. It was so nice not having to worry about him while we were gone and she gave him so much attention. She was also an excellent house guest. She will be at the top of the list the next time we need a sitter. Highly recommend!

I work in research during the day with a hybrid work from home schedule. My availability can change week to week and I try to be as transparent as possible about that.
