Love to Walk, like your 4-leg pup
I grew up with dogs and currently live with a dog (not mine, and I cannot board for this reason) so I am good with reading a dog's body language and attending to their needs. I'm a sucker for a long walk with a dog and enjoy it as much as they do. I work from my laptop, so it's easy for me to swing by during the day to check on or walk your pup, or even be there all day if I'm staying over night. I am most familiar and comfortable with small and medium size dogs. Please note before requesting a time that I’m extremely allergic to cats and cannot accept a booking at a home with a cat.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm very aware of preventing a dog from getting out of the home/yard unattended and will check fences, gates and doors thoroughly. (I grew up with a dog who was a runner so it's a habit ingrained in me.) I am also very aware of reading other dog's body language when at a park or on a walk and will do my utmost to prevent an altercation between your dog and another dog, which is all too common.

Mia was great with our anxious dogs! We really appreciated the frequent updates and photos, plus how flexible Mia was with arriving before we left to make sure the pups were already calm by the time we walked out the door. Thank you so much!!
Communication check in a week before. Pictures daily and took great care of our dogs. One who is blind and deaf and needs a little extra and was patient with our other dog who was a little skittish in the beginning. Got the dogs to bond with her and took them out and fed them on their normal schedule.
Both of our first times on Rover! Mia fid a wonderful job connecting and cuddled the little guy while we were away! Texted photos and any concerns when they arose! Our guy gets nervous so it was great getting updates! Thanks so much!
Mia did an amazing job watching our house and dog while we were away for a week. Mia sent pictures and text updates including our pup snuggling in Mia’s lap and photos during his walk. I completely trust Mia and look forward to hiring her again.

Schedule
I work from my laptop, so I can be flexible with swinging by any day of the week or weekend, or stay at your home during the day if your pup needs more attention while you are traveling.
