I've had big dogs my entire life so I'm incredibly confident in my abilities to take the best care possible of your dogs! I get along great with dogs young and old as well as big and small and have had experience dealing with reactive dogs as well. I didn't have cats growing up due to family members' allergies but I have been cat sitting for a few years for my friends and I hope to one day own a cat as well :) I've also had experience working with fish, frogs, geckos, and other small animals. I love critters big and small and work great with all types of animals!

I live in an apartment on campus so unfortunately I am not currently able to board animals but I have a car so I can drive to you and can access dog parks, pet stores, and vets easily if need be. I have no allergies to pet saliva or dandruff and am comfortable working with all kinds of animals!

Mia was able to help out last minute with some walks for my pup, Buster. She was easy-going and professional. My dog felt comfortable with her almost immediately! Also, she was prompt & responsive with all communications. I would (&have) used her again!

I've known Mia for a long time, and I know she is an excellent pet sitter. Mia has pet-sat my families dog for a few years now. Anytime we had a vacation or out of town trip, she was available to watch our dog, Buttercup. She is great about making sure buttercup got lots of exercise and socializing time and does an amazing job at keeping her happy and content while we were away. Buttercup has separation anxiety but is always so happy when Mia came to watch her. Mia is great at reading dog body language and is everything a pet parent could ask for in a pet- sitter!

Schedule
I'm a senior at the University of Maryland with a fairly relaxed schedule so I have more than enough time to make sure I'm there for your pets in every way possible!

- I unfortunately do not have a lot of experience working with special needs animals, so if you have one I would greatly appreciate it if I could learn about their care details prior to taking care of them. I'm great with following written directions but I'm also a visual learner so if you would feel more comfortable showing me the ropes beforehand (especially if it's an overnight job) I'd be more than happy to do so!
