I'm a gig worker, meaning aside from my acting, I also work part-time. My job allows flexibility, which allows me to adapt to your pet's routine.

Because of my rabbit, I am unable to accept other pets into my home. That being said, I can be available to drive to your home daily or house sit, depending on your preference.
Information Merryrose H. would like to know about your pet
As much as you can tell me about your dog's routine is very helpful. We don't often think about it, but if little Sparky (my go-to hypothetical dog name) always does a handshake, turn-around, or sit before eating, he may not eat without being prompted to perform those tricks. Luckily in the technology age, I can always check-in with you if this situation arises, but it's very helpful to know ahead of time!
A typical day
I always let the dog lead. When an owner goes away that can be a stressful time for a dog, so I always allow them to determine the level of activity. What I've found is that after an initial "adjustment" day, the dog generally likes to slip back into their ordinary routine.

Pet care experience
I am an actress based in the DC area and while my career has nothing to do with animals, I do love them! Growing up, my family always had pets (ranging from dogs, guinea pigs, parrots, rabbits, and even ducks!) so I'm used to animals being a part of my life. In terms of care, my philosophy is this; we should treat our pets with love and respect, as they would undoubtedly do the same for us. Personally, I currently have a 6 year old angora rabbit (Archie) who strangely enough behaves very similarly to a dog! He's free roam in my apartment, so I can't accept any other pets into my home, but I am open to driving to any location (within reasonable distance) to take care of your animal(s)!

Reviews

Merryrose was a fantastic sitter for Beeba! She took great care of her and kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which we really appreciated. Merryrose has a very reassuring personality, and we felt completely comfortable leaving Beeba in her care. We would absolutely book with her again.

Merryrose, took care of our three high energy Australian Shepherds . One of the dogs is a recent rescue and needs to be reassured about her surroundings . Merryrose went above and beyond our expectations. We simply can’t thank her enough for the loving care she gave to our dogs.

Merryrose was great! She gave us updates on our girl each day with pics included. It was so nice knowing that someone was there to stay in our home with her while we were away!
While MerryRose is new to the Pet-Sitting scene, we can definitely confirm that she has a tremendous affinity for-- and knack for bonding with-- all manner of pets. She particularly has a way with small-animals (bunnies, guinea pigs, and such). She has an innately professional and engaging manner, and a strong employee work ethic. Also trustworthy in the extreme. A solid candidate for this type of enterprise.
