Working from home honestly opened up the door for me to provide pet care in my home. They spend the vast majority of the time they are here with me instead of being kenneled or left alone. I offer tons of supervised play in the backyard, relaxing belly rubs, and your dog may even join me on work related video calls from time to time. We truly lead a dog inclusive lifestyle.

In our home we offer a very family oriented care. Safety is huge and we do everything we can to ensure a safe environment for our guests. We understand you will likely worry about your pup while away so we also provide regular pictures and updates during their stay.

We understand every dog is unique and they all have their own personality and likes/dislikes. We feel it’s important to get to know the individual dogs and understand who they are and what needs to be done to make their time with us a pleasant experience.
Ein typischer Tag
While we are working the pups are hanging out with us. The home office has dog beds, toys, and a dog friendly recliner. We also play outside several times a day or go for walks around the neighborhood (sometimes we take trips to the dogs park if our pup parents are comfortable with us going). We also provide mental stimulation with treat puzzles, working on basic commands, and playing hide and seek. At nighttime we try to mirror what they do at home as much as possible. I’ve had dogs sleep in the bed with me, sleep in their kennels, and everything in between.

We both work from home and are readily available to be with your pets the vast majority of the day. Their time here is spent interacting with us and being treated like family pets. Our children are grown so we have plenty of time and energy to devote to the pups. Their happiness, health, and safety are top priority. Dogs that are guests in our home are surrounded by love and companionship while their humans are away. We have experience with seniors, puppies, and many health issues including allergies, injections, and seizures. We have a fenced in back yard and a dog friendly vehicle for trips to get a puppuccino or the dog park.

Absolutely fabulous! My fur baby feels right at home with Merry & Wade. Very professional and consistent communication.
First I would like to say how kind Merry and Wade are, it was very nice meeting them. They took very good care of my fur baby; he came back to me a happy pup! Merry kept me updated throughout the entire stay so I did not have to worry about Bear at all. Of note, I really appreciate that they keep the large dogs separate from the small dogs and slowly introduce the fur babies as appropriate. I highly recommend Merry and Wade for your boarding needs!

Merry & Wade are awesome sitters. They made sure that our Luigi is cared for and he always had fun at their place. They are easy to talk to and they always update us. We will definitely be back for boarding needs. 😀
