Hi! My name is Merrily, and I am a student at UNC! I have been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with two dogs and a cat! My dogs were a sweet boxer and a lively pug, so I have experience with both big and small dogs! I especially loved to take my boxer on long walks and runs, and cuddled and played with my pug. From taking care of my dogs throughout teenage hood, I gained valuable experience with senior care, administering oral and topical medication daily, dental care, bathes, and basic grooming. I also have dog and cat sat for family friends and neighbors numerous times, with duties ranging from senior care with a lab dog, to taking care (and easing) an anxious corgi. My favorite aspect of pet-setting is of course snuggles! I want to provide affection and comfort just as pets provide me with affection and comfort! I also thoroughly enjoy playtime and walks!🩷🐾

Merrily provided excellent care for my dog and cat. She quickly established a great relationship with them as well. She also ensured that my cat received her medication twice a day. My dog can be anxious and she did an awesome job making him feel comfortable and safe. They had such good care while we were away! Thanks Merrily!
My dog can get frisky at times around strangers, but Merrily was able to handle her quite well! One of the few people who actually knew how to ease her and actually get her full walk in without wanting to turn back home.
Merrily took care of my dog Jake a couple of months ago and did a wonderful job! I was gone for a week, and Merrily always sent me pictures of Jake when she went to go walk him and kept me up to date with everything they did. Would totally recommend her!

Schedule
I am a full-time college student at UNC with much free time over summer break and am in between Chapel Hill and Gastonia! I live in the heart of Chapel Hill and Gastonia and have a car, allowing for flexible and punctual care.
