Hi! My name is Merrie Hildebrand, and I am a compassionate animal lover who wants to dedicate time to animal care. I have worked with horses, cats, dogs, and rabbits. I am excited to get to know you and your pet’s needs. Right now, my schedule is fairly flexible, and I am willing to commute to your home. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, yet I have a soft heart for dogs who appreciate some extra affection. I have fostered cats, and I’m constantly looking for ways to interact with sweet animals. About a year ago I adopted 2 fearless cats with cerebellar hypoplasia. I am happy to drive your dog to a park if that’s preferred over walking in your neighborhood. I hope I can help with providing the animal care your pet requires!

Merrie took care of my three cats for nine days over the Holidays and was amazing to work with. She took extra time to make sure my kitties were getting attention and were well cared for while I was away. She is also very responsive, which was great. We’re looking forward to booking with her for future vacations.

Merrie did a fantastic job walking our lab Boomer. We needed a dog walker at the last minute for an out of town trip and Merrie came to walk Boomer 4 days in a row. Merrie is dog-focused, reliable and conscientious. We’ll definitely be using her for future dog-walking needs!
Merrie loves animals and it truly shows in the care and devotion she extends to our four legged family members. Our two dogs are always excited to see her and are relaxed and happy when she is with them. She is an excellent communicator and will keep you updated with pictures and messages.
