I am currently able to offer services morning, afternoon and evening. I am available during the week and on weekends. On hotter days, it is preferable to walk when it is cooler (mornings and evenings) but I am flexible and happy to work with your animals' needs.

When animals are in their own space it is important to know where they feel most comfortable. I will always try and lay eyes on a nervous cat but will give them the space to approach me. With dogs I want to give them the time to feel comfortable and safe with me and so will keep them leashed until I know for sure we can trust each other enough to stay safe.

I need to know if you’re dog is friendly so I know if Monty can come along as well or if he is staying home. Knowing how they do in a car is also helpful so that I know whether to walk them locally or take them somewhere new. Knowing how they are on leash and off will also help me work with them to give them the best walk possible.

While I like to do some of my regular walks around where I live, I am also fond of finding new places to walk and love hiking in nature. My dog Monty loves to play fetch and so this is our usual game when we’re playing or walking.

My family has had dogs and cats my entire life as well as a few gerbils and rabbits. I’ve walked, bathed and looked after them both with my family and with my own dog Monty and my different cats. I walk my friend’s dog regularly and have done since she was about five months. I also help out with friend and family pets whenever I visit. My dog Monty is now 13 and as he is extremely fit, he is still up for good long walks whenever he can get them.

Merran was amazing, She took great care of our cats whilst we were away and took the time to get to know them and their personalities. Both cats enjoyed her visits and playtime and we loved the pictures and updates everyday. We are so grateful to find such a caring and loving cat sitter for our girls, thank you Merran
Great experience! Merran was reliable, communicative, and very accommodating. She gave Lucy her medication, kept me updated, and was very kind throughout the booking. Lucy seemed very comfortable with her, and I would definitely book with her again.
Five Stars — Followed Every Direction (and Survived Loki)! I was gone for three weeks and came home to happy, spoiled cats and zero drama — all thanks to Merran. She followed my detailed instructions to the letter: respected the feeder schedule and problem solved when feeder misbehaved, knew which food went to Milo vs. Ottie & Loki, topped up water, and even gave the patio plants a light drink. She kept me updated the whole time with messages and photos, handled litter duty (and Loki’s picky habits) like a pro, fed the fish, and hunted down toy-thieving vacuums. Reliable, communicative, and clearly a cat whisperer! highly recommend!
Merran always goes above and beyond! We feel very comfortable leaving our cat knowing Merran will be checking in on her! She sends wonderful updates and photos every visit! Thank you again!!
