I've been caring for animals all my life. Dogs, hamsters and birds were part of my household growing up. My purpose and passion is to care for animals in whatever capacity I can. From dogs and cats to birds, ferrets and reptiles. I have worked in the veterinary field for 30 + years. One of those hospitals was an avian and exotic hospital. I am a certified veterinary assistant although generally preferred the front desk aspect. I have chosen to leave that field and focus on pets in their home. I love pet sitting. I've been doing it on the side for close to 30years. I particularly love senior pets and cats. I love the close relationships I develop with the animals in my care. I will love and care for you pet as I do my own.

I will come to your home and follow your instructions to the letter. I will keep the space clean and tidy and care for a few plants as well. Your pet will receive lots of loving attention from me. Lots of snuggles if they so choose or playtime or just general company. I respect all pets boundaries.

We have been going to the same vet for almost 20 years, and during that time we had the pleasure of having Merle (we know as Lynne) Love on and take care of our Pups. No matter how crazy and hectic the office was, she took the time to genuinely welcome us and give and receive Love from the Pups. It was not just us. She was a calming force at the vet’s office for all the pets and owners. We regretted seeing her leave, but she made such an impact on our Pups and our Lives that we have kept in touch. She is a true value to any company she works for.
Merle is the first person I turn to when I need someone to look after my cats. We have six cats of various ages - all healthy - but they need to be visited and food and water checked each day we are away. They also need someone to pet them and brush them and Merle does all of this with love and calmness. Her many years of veterinary experience was definitely is a big factor in choosing Merle to visit and care for my cats.
Merle is an absolute gem of a human being, and provides exceptional service for her clients. Extremely professional and goes above and beyond in all that she does. I've seen first hand the love and care she has given to her own animals, and I can say with full certainty that she will give everything to ensure the best possible care for her clients.

Schedule
This is my full time employment. I am available to drop in to your home as much as 2-3 times a day as needed. I do not board in my home and will occasionally be available for overnight stays.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsMerle can host up to 5 drop-ins per day
- I always do a phone interview to get any medical history and then a meet and greet. Its important to me that I feel comfortable as well as the owner and their pet. Pets almost always act different once their owners are gone and I can adjust to that.
