I love all dogs. I have no prejudices against larger dogs like pit bulls and have had both big and small dogs in the past. I would prefer dogs that are leash trained to some degree, but I can handle pulling and would be willing to work on leash skills if you are interested.
A typical day
More than anything, I just love spending time with animals, but I have a special interest in training. If you have a challenging or high energy dog, I am experienced, and up for the task of following your training regiments or special instructions.

My family has always had pets. Even though I finally have my own dog, I always need more animals in my life. I always took the lead on training our new puppies, and my current dog Bonnie has great obedience in addition to her repertoire of fun tricks. I even managed to get our family cat Frieda how to come when called. When I got older, we got horses and chickens, and I have ridden for ten years or so. I have never met an animal that I can’t get to love me, or at least listen to me. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes, reptiles, fish, plants, horses, chickens, bees (they do need care) and birds. This app is only for your average pooch, but I’m ready for anything!!

Meriwether helped me out when I needed a dog walker last minute due to my terrible planning skills. She was very communicative and asked all the right questions about my dog and was patient with his mediocre leash skills and willing to enforce some of his training/boundaries we've been working on. I'll definitely be booking her again if she's available next time I need a dog walker.
